A staff member of Li's studio said the 42-year-old actress was too ill to walk and flew back to China overnight with no other choice as the local hospital in Australia could not diagnose her sickness. China's hospital confirmed that she is suffering from acute purulent tonsillitis and that she cannot speak or eat anything. Her doctor said the high fever is now under control thanks to timely treatment at the Chinese hospital. Li Bingbing complained on her Sina Weibo that a mediocre medical staff made her bleed during her transfusion process.
