Based off past survival shows from Mnet, I think these girls from Produce 101 will make it in the group

After watching survival shows like M&M and Sixteen and how much screentime the members who were on the show and are now in their groups gotten, I believe it's obvious on the Produce 101 performance alone who is getting in. I believe the ones who are getting in are

 

1.Somi (JYP)

2.Dani (MBK)

3.Cathy (MBK/inactive DIA member)

4.Chaeyeon (MBK/inactive DIA member)

5.Nayoung (Pledis)

6.The girl at 2:09

 

There is 6/11 right there.

I don't think 3 MBK girls will make it, especially when there are only these 3 from MBK and Koreans have a really bad opinion of MBK :S

Overall, there are a lot of known faces, those you named, some of the more famous Pledis trainees, (Pledis sent so many girls and some of the preschool girls have been there for years now), Baby Kara members, Chanmi, that birth of a star girl, the one from that group in Hong Kong, some Fantagio girls who are quite known too...

Since it's Mnet, all the known faces will get screen time and have a higher chance, but there are more than 10-11 girls who are known and/or already have fans...

Somi will make it for sure, idk about the rest.

And I don't think screentime is an indication at this point if it's in regards to camera time. In the end the audience choses what they'll support and who they find pretty/talented regardless of how evil mnet's editing might be

lets be real tho.. Mnet aren't that trust worthy when it comes to voting if MAMA is any indication...

Or you know, Mnet could pull an mnet where they eliminate the most popular members because of some random voting by the members themselves or a small portion of the public, or by a COMPLETELY random mass elimination (which I can see in this show). This happened on UPRS and also on Sixteen... and then they'll probably do some dumb surprise comeback of popular eliminated members because the public was angry which also happened on their previous shows... sigh

The DIA members didn't leave DIA but more so went on haitus until either they are eliminated from the show or if they join the group than for a year while they promote the Mnet group. It's pretty good media play for their new group.

And I still find it troublesome to see 14-16 year olds debuting. They are all so very young and developing/maturing and the stress involved in this industry is extreme.

It's just a temporary group though... I could see if it was a real group..but..

By the time the group actually debuts she should be up to age.

 

And even if she wasn't I doubt it would be a problem seeing how Jinsol (14) and Yena (15) from April are also idols.

... I'm suddenly having visions of a quarter of the contestants being eliminated, and then suddenly they bring in new random trainees from somewhere.  And then they do it again.  There are like a hundred girls, they could drag this show out forever. orz
