heuieuu 564
We all notice that we look different in photos than we do in mirrors Which do you think people when they look at you? If neither, which do you think is a closer depiction?

abra 40,910
I'm guessing mirror because I feel like most people look different on photos, but in the mirror it's more similar. But that might just be my shitty photo skills.
whiteasian 732
i think to ourselves we see every angle of our face as hugely different, but for others i think mirror changes more

ingenting 1,781
mirror. if you look in a mirror with a friend he/she will look pretty much the same, but it can differ quite a bit from picture to picture.

Dasom the Awkward Potato 1,071
I always thought mirrors give a distorted image which is why we look better, so photos are a closer depiction. I really hope I'm wrong though because I look so much better in mirrors than in photos.
mglsts 960
Maybe mirror? We might see ourselves differently in the mirrors, but a camera fails to capture a lot of details and it's easier to manipulate.

North and South 4,680
I look terrible in photos. I'm just highly unphotogenic. I think I look like my mirror self though, because people are often surprised at how bad my photos turn out.
Little Red 1,514
Sometimes I look better or worse in a mirror than I do in a photo and vice versa... so I can't really say

Dandelion Wine 1,540
Photos are still shots, capturing one moment in time. I would think that mirrors present a more accurate representation of ourselves, even if it is a reflection.

Kris 8
What you see in photos are what other people see you as. The image you see in the mirror is the flipped version o your face. And there's a theory that if you see something over and over for a long time, it will be more attractive to you. So in the mirror, you will be an attractive mofo, but people can see you as an ugly mofo.
