Mnet has announced that the 101 trainees of their new reality program ‘PRODUCE 101’ will make their first appearance through this Thursday’s M! Countdown.


 


But with Sangamdong studio unable to accommodate all 101 female trainees of ‘PRODUCE 101,’ the performance will be pre-recorded today on the 15th at Incheon Gymnasium Arena.


 


An official said, ‘As there are too many trainees it’s impossible to make them perform on one stage at the same time at Sangamdong studio, we rented Incheon Gymnasium Arena for pre-recording, it was already used during the preliminaries of ‘Show Me The Money’. Viewers will be able to witness a refreshing performance from the female trainees.’


 


The trainees will be performing an EDM dance track ‘PICK ME’ and the footage will be shown on the the 17th on M! Countdown.


 


This reality program will gather 101 female trainees from various entertainment agencies, where they will be dorming together, rehearsing, and performing missions. Through voting and judging by a panel, 11 will make the final cut to form a unit girl group. They will then sign a contract for a year with CJ E&M.


 


The trainees have started to live together in their dorm since the 5th of December. ‘PRODUCE 101’ will start airing in mid-January.

apparently 3 of the trainees have already left lol

 

 

 

At least they had 101...

 

Remember when CCM(now MBK) was gonna do a survival show on Mnet for DIA...but so many trainees to be in it dropped out that they just debuted DIA with who was left
