It's not the same thing as bad intonation. lol But uh, most supporting vocalists have trouble with pitch. But tone deafness itself is a disability and I always found it weird how people conflate poor relative pitch with tone deafness. Like the vast majority of idols probably aren't tone deaf at all, rather they just had crap musical training or none at all cause relative pitch is natural in humans and is further developed by ear and vocal training(cuz lesbehonest "vocal training" in Kpop usually isn't actual vocal training lol). Anyway, those who barely gets to sing and are past the rookie days have a really high chance of being tone deaf.
