iKON and Seventeen are two rookie idol groups are on top of all the hype surrounding the big debuts happening in the last two years. Both of these groups are popular with foreign and domestic fans and have different perks that have gained them traction. 

 

Seventeen is massive with classically strong Pledis visuals while iKON is a more youthful Big Bang from YG - both are trendy and have strong rap teams that gain them the most attention. However the biggest and more important thing these rookies have in common is that they're centered around their own musicality. Both groups have strong composers that have done a majority of their respective bodies of work and have both been impressive from a production standpoint (the actual quality of song is a different story) for their ages.. with some obvious help by the staff. 

 

Overall, who do you think is the most valuable for their group? Who has made the better music?

Seventeen writes their own music and does their own choreography. They are for the most part self produced.

If we could find out how much of Apology BI actually contributed to, or if YG just threw BI's name on the production credits so that he could mediaplay about how amazing BI is if Apology became a big song, then that would push him over Woozi.

 

If BI personally made Apology, his production ability is >>> Woozi. But basing off of My Type, Airplane, Rhythm Ta, MUP, and the other half album ones, Mansae and Adore You are just simply much better.

 

As a person, Woozi >>> BI, as well as necessity to the group.

Bobby could easily take every rap line in iKon and the general public wouldn't mind. Teddy could produce every iKon track and fans wouldn't mind either.
