whiteasian 732 Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 recently one of my cats was in a fight and when we took him to the vet he was yowling because he hates going in the car ._. it was tragic tbh, but i just wondered, do any of you people know how to calm them down in transport, or when you have to give them medicine at home? wings 4,616 Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 I know that feeling I talk to them with a calm soft voice to make them aware of my presence: I say things like "Don't worry, I'm here my love, you'll feel better..." but I guess it's not important what I say but how I talk. One drive and the other stay with the cat in the back. Both don't like the car very much but they stay on my lap and strocking them works. You have to show your cat you're here.
