As of right now, they're spotlighted on the front page of The Independent, a major news outlet in the UK:

And there's an article about them from TMZ that is the 4th story down from their homepage:

All these poeple are trying to twist this story so hard.  I am getting more and more pissed with WM as time goes.  The girls are getting their name dragged through the mud all these people are trying to make them out to be some loli group and judge not only them but kpop in general.  That dumb excuse of a manager caused all this shit and WM is doing nothing about any of this.  JUST TELL THE TRUTH and spare OMG of any of this bullshit this isnt even good publicity the longer and more traction this catches the more prostitution is attached to their name.  The same way fancams are attached to EXID/Gfriend this is a shit situation

I just cant believe this is happening, If this actually becomes big It would be tragic.  After all the work they put in, their known for something like this, If they get popular how are they going to get CF deals and family oriented stuff if the first thing people think about when they see them is prostitution.  I dont give a shit about WM they could lose all the money they want cause its their fault but for the girls to be attached to this is just fucked up and the fact WM is actually basking in this negative attention is just flat out short sighted.

I use to respect WM for the way they treated OMG but I guess their trash like everyone else, how are the parents feeling seeing their kids get trashed by these dumb ignorant twats, using them to fulfill their own sick mindset, the girls looked so tired and exhausted coming back to korea and now they have to be reminded of this shit all the time making it on newspapers and shit FUCK YOU WM YOU PIECES OF SHIT AND FUCK THAT MANAGER TOO what kind of a moronic idiot makes that type of mistake, does he understand what he did, WM is trash in order to save a couple of hundred dollars on visas they damaged the girls name ONCE AGAIN FUCK YOU WM

The actual TMZ article is in my spoiler.  They aren't accusing them of being prostitutes - they are simply saying that the record label got caught trying to use the wrong types of Visa to enter the states.

A Korean girl group called Oh My Girl was detained at LAX, their record label claiming they were wrongly targeted as underage prostitutes, but our sources say the group was trying to enter the country under questionable circumstances.

The girls arrived at LAX Friday from South Korea but got stopped at U.S. Customs. Their record label claims the feds noticed the girls were traveling with costumes and jumped to the conclusion they were prostitutes. A label rep says they were held for 15 hours and booted back to Korea.

But our sources say, what really happened was that the girls tried entering on a visitor visa. When customs officials noticed they were traveling with a ton of luggage that included costumes and other markers, they started asking questions and realized the group was here to perform.

Our sources say the proper papers would have been a Performer Visa, which they didn't have. So the girls were held in the customs office for around 10 hours until they could catch a flight home.

The girls were supposed to perform at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Saturday at an event ... Unforgettable, 2015.

At least their trip was unforgettable.

It's really odd how much coverage this received. The BBC and the Huffington Post also covered the story, and I still can't fathom why. They also ran the story that the girl's were mistaken as prostitutes... Their company is freaking dumb, don't release that kind of news, it's not something that gives a positive light to the girls or the company and staff.

Man... I mean, it's exposure, but it's not exactly flattering exposure especially for people just skimming through the article without knowing OH MY GIRL. Best they can hope for is that it will lead to some people actually looking the group up and seeing how OMG is about. If not, people will probably just leave with a tainted image/assumptions about them :(

If it's just a Visa problem, it's unfortunate that it got blown up like this.
