BTS: the BIGBANG of the new generation

I made a comment the other day that a few people didn't appreciate I guess

 

I'm sure BTS is aiming past EXO, and more towards BIGBANG's level. 

 

I also made a thread a while ago drawing some similarities

But I just checked out BTS's NEW music video, Run, and I honestly couldn't help but think of BIGBANG yet again.

 

 

It reminds me of the fun and carefree We Like To Party, mixed with the Heartbreak of Haru Haru. 

 

I don't think BTS fans or VIPs should feel ashamed or upset by BIGBANG's influence on BTS. Many girl groups are inspired by SNSD and it's perfectly accepted, I think it's only natural that BTS has a reference point like BIGBANG for their careers. 

 

Maybe Big Hit as a whole is inspired by YG Entertainment. You could also argue that Glam had a slight 2NE1 influence to them. And there's nothing wrong with this. All these groups are ultimately still unique in their own way.
