The website wrote basically the same thing as this one.

"K-pop group Oh My Girl members are mistaken as prostitutes and detained"

The eight members of a South Korean K-pop band were detained by mistake in the Los Angeles airport, where the authorities suspected they could be prostitutes. The young band Oh My Girl were held for 15 hours on Thursday (10) and then returned to South Korea. The company responsible for the group's career, WM Entertainment, said the Los Angeles airport immigration authorities reviewd in a thorough way the clothes and accessories. "Probably because they are very young, seem to have been confused with prostitutes,"the company said, without revealing details. WM Entertainment, however, said it seeks an advisory in the United States as to whether the detention of young people was legal. Other hypothesis is a problem with the visa of the young which should have a show on Saturday (12) in Los Angeles. Band Oh My Girl was formed in March and released the first single in April. The South Korean groups, very popular in Asia, are formed by very young men and women, in some cases only 14 years old.

Global impact!!! In my opinion, it just stayed within the realm of being not too controversial or negative in spectrum.

The girls did nothing wrong or anything really. Their company is taking a lot of hits though. Let's just hope WM learns from their "mistake" in the future.

arrested? wtf no they weren't ughh stop trying to give oh my girl a bad image stupid news

It was a really bad translation. The article says

"Singers of Oh My Girl, K-pop, were mistaken was prostitutes and detained."
The eight members of the south-korean group were at an USA airport. They were detained by 15 hours; the other suspicions are of troubles with visa.

The word "arrested" (presas) was not used in any moment.
