Seungslut 206
CEO Yang reported the following during his phone interview with a reporter on the 5th, "Keeping the promise that we made about the 'WIN' teams and how one of the two team's victory depends 100% on viewer votes and solely on the viewers' votes is the most important thing" and that "I announced during the first production press conference and on the first episode of the show that the winning team will debut immediately after the show is over and that the losing team will either disband or spend many more years training, however I (and YGE) think that a definite disbandment for the losing team is the better way to go once the winning team is separated away." Irrelevant information omitted. CEO Yang Hyunsuk continued, "There is no doubt that both teams have gained much popularity, fame, and fans through this program, but because of that first promise we made with the public and people, and to follow the original guidelines and rules set forth on this show, the losing team will officially and immediately disband." translated by: big_seunghyun source: http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&oid=109&aid=0002630464&sid1=001&lfrom=twitter [thanks technicolor.girl]
ariel28 5,489
OR will have a delayed debut. some members from both teams have great potentials so i hope YG would continue to train them instead "/
silverlining 2,308
waiting for trans, but basically before he was saying that they could get their debut delayed, or face member replacements, but now he's saying they will disband.. um.. it seems kind of dumb to disband the losing group considering they would already have fans to milk from right off the bat. source: http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&oid=109&aid=0002630464&sid1=001&lfrom=twitter and also the fact that he's already invested so much money into them. Then again he doesn't seem to have enough producers to go round YG at the moment so maybe that's why.

mskpopfan 5,485
when it comes to YG, i can never trust what he says. maybe it's all part of YG's plan... tell people that the losing group will disband so people will keep telling him that he should debut both groups. No one's going to punish him for changing his mind. ... unless he really doesn't think he can handle 2 new boygroups+the new gg whenever, if ever, that happens. In which case, at least he'll cut them loose quickly and avoid accusations of stringing them along like Su'pearls.
ishouldbestudying 473
Waaaat??? I don't even have a preferred team, or really like either of them that much, but that just seems stupid. :/ Hopefully there's more to the article. You Promised to give us a full 2ne1 comeback starting from July-Oct but where the hell is their sept comeback? You didn't even bother to give us an explaination on why there is no sept comeback for the girls i.e YG don't make my blood boil up with your BS promise thing. MALEFISEOK 2,672
He would be a BIG FOOL to disband the losing the team because if there were picked up by another company, the fans will clearly follow and try to prove to YG that the losing team can do as much or even better than Winner. It'll be a bloodbath during the music shows.
