Do you read the replies in a thread before you post?

I often see in threads people posting the same thing over and over again, something that only needs to be stated once, like the answer to a question. I wonder if they didn't bother to read the replies, or did read them but decided they needed to post anyway...

I understand some people post at the same time. But then you'll have people on the next page still posting it

Only the first Paige while scroll down. Since techs don't want make a down button, u basically have to read when u scroll.

If the topic is controversial or interesting I might read 2-3 Paige's before I post.

And the same thing posted ever again don't mean ppl didn't read, but that ppl agree with one opinion. I always see it as thus, so I don't bother.

Most of the time, I do. There's always the possibility someone's already said what I'm thinking (in which case I usually just upvote and forego posting altogether), or a user will say something that makes me think a little harder or consider the question from a different angle.

Unless I'm in a hurry and the OP and is specifically looking for individual responses. In that case, I'll just reply.

Yes... but oftentimes I am so slow to type out my reply from my phone, that by the time I actually post, usually someone else would have beaten me to it and posted what I said in my reply... :._.:

Edit: I'm guessing others post the same thing anyway for the won.
