 Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー Fainaru FantajÄ«) is a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square). The franchise centers around a series of fantasy and science fantasy role-playing video games, but includes motion pictures, anime, printed media, and other merchandise. The first game in the series, published in 1987, was conceived by Sakaguchi as his last-ditch effort in the game industry; the title was a success and spawned sequels. The video game series has since branched into other genres such as tactical role-playing, action role-playing, massively multiplayer online role-playing, racing, third-person shooter, fighting, and rhythm.

 

The series has been commercially and critically successful; it is Square Enix's best selling video game franchise, with more than 100 million units sold and one of the best-selling video game franchises. It has also introduced many features now common in role-playing video games and has been credited with helping to popularize console based RPGs in markets outside Japan.

FF8 is my favourite   but i also love 10 & 10-2.

idk actually i only just played through 10 & 10-2 last year, i might get it after the price goes down

i liked the draw and junction system

 

although the materia and sphere grid were probably more customizable

the draw function got a bit tedious after a while 

 

but junctioning was so fun, it was so satisfying knowing you're drawing magic that's going towards your stats 

 

i hate the sphere grid

You know in ff ii you can cut yourself to buff your characters.. Dumbest trick ever.

The drawing system is the pain in the ass lol, but i love the junction system

 

My favorite soundtrack is the ix though. It is nice overall, and it is really fitting

Completed and loved FF10/10-2/13&13-2

Lightning is damn awesome but my fav is still FF10, from storyline to music <3

......I even learned how to play "To Zanarkand" on the piano.....well half of it lol

6 is my favorite. Because Kefka is the best FF villain and Celes is one of the best female characters in an rpg.
