Tao casted as lead role for film based on Shimada Soji's mystery novel "Summer, portrait of a 19 yr old"

The film will be an adaptation of the mystery novel " Natsu, jukyusai no shozo" written by Shimada Soji

Tao will play the role of Kang Qiao.

 

This film was rumoured from months and the author kept posting photos of Tao on his weibo. So we had some hints, but it was never confirmed ( the official weibo of the film follows Tao's and his studio's weibo. They also ,with other media posted about it today cr)

 

 

Shimada Soji confirmed on his weibo & his twitter.

It will start filming in Tainan (Taiwan) in January 10th, and will be released in summer 2016.

This seems like a nice role for Tao. I'm excited because I like mystery, even though I'm not a fan of movies in general and plot summary does not say much tbh.

 

I'm also happy for the writer since he seemed interested in Tao for this role and posted pictures of Tao on his weibo before.

 

I want him to look like this for this movie, lol, I'm already making up how he should look, I better stop now.

Yay!! Congrats Tao!! This is his first lead role T_T!!! And i am happy that it is a mystery novel because when it comes to movies i like mystery and action movies more than rom/com or melodrama. While it is the opposite in TV dramas, if it is a TV drama i like rom/com more. Anyway so excited for the movie!! Hailangs have so many Tao movies upcoming this 2016!! Tao said there are 3 movies right?! I am already so excited for 2016 because i am sure it's gonna be an awesome year for Tao!!
