Who is your fav? Maple Leafs?

Lol no, although I do follow them because well one they're local but they're young and developing.

I'm not really a fan of any team in particular... I'm more interested in the growth of younger teams though (Colorado, Carolina, Ottawa, etc.) but if there was a team I was to be a fan of it would be the Red Wings.

Nice! An all-rounder. Hard to find.

But I personally am not very fond of the Red Wings but, they put on a good game.

Haha... only because I grew up watching them in the 90s. I'm not a huge fan of their current team though aside from a few players on the roster.

I started following Washington quite a bit in 09 because they had Fedorov but continued because of a few other players I liked on the team (Green, Semin, Carlson, Alzner...)

Eh Marchand... No comments on him lmao. I broke down when Seguin got traded.  :omg:

Seguin had to go. He's a dick... lol I've seen him in Toronto a few times (in town, not at a game) and let's just say he's got "I have a huge ego" written all over his face.

But aside from his character issues, there was no way they could keep him... he would've been misused unless they put him on one of the wings which wouldn't be utilizing him to the fullest. He played well in the playoffs... just couldn't find the net.

Lucky. I wish I could see famous athletes around my city lol. Hm athletes and their personalities.. Honestly I just ignore it at times because I only look for if they play good or not. But if they get cocky on the court/rink then I definitely won't ignore that lol.

I'm just praying for the team this year.. Last year was horrible for all New England teams.  :._.:  :>_>:

At least you guys have good teams in all four leagues.

NFL: Toronto doesn't even have a team. Buffalo's our team..........

NBA: The Raptors are a joke. No star player wants to come here let alone stay here... and the ones that do, we chase out of town (i.e.: Vince Carter)

MLB: The Blue Jays... they were supposed to be good this year. Bad luck with injuries and players not performing to what they were capable of, I'll cut them some slack for now.

NHL: The Leafs are finally doing alright... young up and coming team. Should have a nice future assuming management doesn't mess it up.

Nah, I'm a Capitals fan. and yeah :D we have quite a big hockey league here, but the NHL is on another level.

Wow, I'm honestly surprised. I know it's big in other European nations but didn't think the UK would be into it. And you like it enough to not just watch your favourite team either... that's not something even Canadians can claim lol kudos to you!

I like the Caps too! Who's your favourite player?

Yeah, well for me, with aspirations to become a sports writer, I'm trying to specialise in US sports writing here in England. So with that goal came me trying to branch out to all the US sports. I started with Basketball but have since moved into all areas. I luckily had some knowledge through seeing teams in England.

My favourite player for a good while was Ovechkin. What a beast, but this season, Backstrom has been incredible!

OVIE!!

I'm glad he's playing with confidence again. I really liked their team back in 09 when Fedorov was there. Wish they kept Semin but oh well... Grabo's looking good for them. Sucked that they had to trade Varlamov away but he would've been their most expensive goalie and they just couldn't afford to keep him. He's also the only one that would've given them a good return.

Good luck to them!
