[Naver] Exo's Chanyeol Gets a Special Birthday Present from Fans

The 24th birthday of Exo's Chanyeol will be remembered by many people for many years to come, as he recieved a forest for his birthday.

 

One of Chanyeol's fan communities, called Park Chanyeol Baidu Bar was responsible for this mindblowing gift. They raised 30 million Korean won (approximately $26,000) within three hours, which was enough to purchase their star a garden-style forest within the World Cup Park in Seoul through the Star Forest Project by Tree Planet.

 

The park was revealed to the public this past October, and many visitors stop by everyday. One fan who participated in the project said, "Not only does this celebrate Chanyeol's birthday, it is very meaningful as many people will benefit from a forest within a city," The fan also added, "There were not many places that reminded me of Chanyeol when I visit Korea, but I hope this will be one of those places."

last year Chanyeol's Chinese fans planted a forest in China, this year they sponsored a forest in Korea.

Baekhyun, Tao , Xiumin, Chen, Sehun, Lay, D.O ... also have their own forest in Seoul, or better, Seoul inabitants have a nice place to relax because of them (the forest was gifted in their name). It seems this kind of gift is popular among EXO-Ls.  (also Exo as a group has a little corner of paradise, I think it was a gift for Exo's 3rd anniversary) 

 

Chanyeol's Chinese fans are really impressive, though ... they are very well organized.
