*Before we talk about how much we want to see Moonsun's ABC tape, there are some rules that many people thought should be enforced. I UNDERSTAND IT'S DEMOCRACY BUT LIKE

 

So... We have an issue that needs to be addressed...
I don't want you all to think I'm the bad guy here but it's something that's been bothering not only me but a couple of other felas over in this thread.
 
As you all are aware quite a good amount of people joined the thread recently... and it's great, really awesome, it's nice to have more members with whom we can discuss Moonsun daily activities... However, things got a little out of control. Pages and more pages are going by with either:

• Useless information;

• Old information;

• Basic questions about things that you, being a Moonsun shipper, should probably know... and for your luck there is an easy way of doing that: reading from page 1

I understand that some of you just found out about Moonsun/Mamamoo and are only trying to be part of something but this is a little too much. We reach 600 pages just a little over a week ago and now we have 27 new ones. For a side you will think "Oh that's great, Moonsun must've be doing crazy shit" but in reality you guys are all just talking with each other, asking for the creation of a new chat room, posting about fake information you got from another random place etc. I know that this is a public forum, you have the right to do whatever you feel like it (unless it's something offensive) but please, PLEASE before posting anything you are not sure about, do a quick google search just to get your facts straight. It's actually pretty annoying for some of us, that been here since day one, to have to answer things that are the basics of Moonsun's existence. Also come down a bit. Not everything Moonbyul/Solar does needs further speculation. Just because, for exemple, both like yellow doesn't mean they are SUPER GAY, married and have 3 kids. Chill.
 
All I really want to ask is for you guys to keep some sanity when doing posts. Don't go crazy over it cause it can be very unpleasant and we all are here just have a good time talking about our favorite ship.

 

 

But basically:

• Have a question about Moonsun about what happened in the past? We probably covered it in this thread, so maybe... you could flip through the 69k pages... yeah... or...! You could click here, hopefully this organizer can help you (courtesy of moomoo)
• Wanna create another platform for fellow shippers to talk to each other? PM anyone who would be interested and start from there, because it'd really clog the traffic here.
• You made a new friend and want to know if she's a hot German lesbian or a papito Brazilian dude? Please PM them instead of posting here with out-of-topic things. (I mean you could put a spoiler too though; I often talk about my desire for Angel Line's ABC tape!) Making friends is totally fine but if you treat this thread as a instant messaging chatroom then it'd be a problem.
• Please no old teas! Fast forward, it's 2020 now and Moonsun are officially a married couple in England, and someone be posting about 2015 when Solar and Moonbyul were still at a "some" relationship. Kappa
• No shipping wars here. Like literally this is the one thing that I think is the most important. I totally respect other ships (yes I wanna see Angel Line ABC tape), and obviously I'm not a fool to believe that they'd do the same, but there is no reason to be defensive over it. Shipping is for fun so there's literally no reason to be upset over it.
• Apparently Moonsun shippers used to be respected as one of the most chill shipping fandoms, but obviously I don't see it that way anymore. So if you can save this rep, do it. Do the fandom some charity.
• !! What's being discussed here stays here, mon dieu I don't want Moonsun to avoid drinking fresh Jeju mango juice just because some random dude comments "mango juice" on their V app LMFAO. Losing all that nutrition because of us peasants.

Glad you made this thread. Moonsun was starting to feel like refugee when the lesbian thread started turning on them. Also, I feel like it's better to discuss them here than the general Mamamoo thread.

Moonbyul bothers Solar the most because... not saying that Moonbyul is a guy - but say that she is more of a dominant person while Solar is a more submissive person (LET ME BE DELULU OK), Moonbyul would of course like to bother a girl that she likes; I know for some guys, if they like a girl, they would bother them and annoy them because it would be fun to gain their attention (to me, this is a horrible tactic because I don't react well to a guy/grill who teases and annoy me because they like me. Total turn-off, but it's just me), and I think Moonbyul would apply to this criteria. Almost all the time, you would see Moonbyul teasing Solar, such as knocking on Solar's teeth, bothering her (calling her pretty, which Solar liked but was shy to admit I assume), just doing things that would annoy Solar in general. Solar responded to these actions really... happily it seemed? Like in this GIF

 

SHE WAS SMILING; it wasn't like she hated it, but she was just shy, I would say. As greasy as Moonbyul has been, has she ever called Hwasa pretty? Or Wheein? What she only does to the maknae line is always grabbing their thighs, tapping their booty. For me, I've only seen Moonbyul called Solar pretty (I know every idol will hide something behind the monitor screens, but I bet that Moonbyul and her BFF Minji are definitely platonic.)

 

 

 

And plus.. sometimes people can't help but to fall for certain people in their lives even if they know they shouldn't regardless of whether they are or are not similar to their ideal type.

This is a valid point as well. For some people, they just don't like being a bitch third wheel in a friendship, especially when Hwasa and Wheein have been friends since their first year of high school. It would be weird if Moonbyul/Solar cut into their friendship. Also, Hwasa and Wheein were born in 1995, making them the same age, and people with the same age have the same interests together (at least in my experience). And Moonbyul and Solar only have a year difference between their age, so they definitely work out together better. Not to mention they have share the same interests in food and stuff, so they click better.

So yeah, I totally agree with what you said. Idk, there is just something with Moonsun that makes them different from other ships that I follow. The most of the ships are pure skinship, you can see that they are doing it as a gesture of friendship and that, even if is a little gay sometimes, they wouldn't date each other (my opinion). 

 

A few people are starting to say that Moonsun is forcing skinship lately and I can see where they are coming from but I still disagree.

   Why MB still feels the need to keep poking Solar's butt even when they aren't on a event with fans/for fans? Why does she needs to be so close to her in all of the performances? Hwasa and Wheein always keep a distance between them, but Solar and Byul are always practically glued to each other. For me, the reality is that their moves are really subtle. They don't go around grabbing each others butt for real, holding hands during a long period of time or hugging each other from the back. They do these kind of things with other members but not with each other.

 

   The pretty thing is a good point. Even then MB said that would date Wheein if she was a guy, she didn't said she was pretty (if though she probably think that she is, she just didn't mentioned it), just that she had an natural aegyo. But again that is if she was a guy not a girl 

   Another thing that I notice is how Byul take picture with Solar. There is this pattern. Either they are going to take a photo were both of them are smiling and look really happy or a photo where Solar is going to be with an "I don't care" face/is not even looking at the camera. Like in this one: (just something that I notice not really relevant but)

Suddenly I remembered that Moonbyul called Wheein pretty once (during ASC - where she said she wanted to bother Wheein when she wore a dress because she was too pretty). But Moonbyul complimented Wheein differently

What I'm trying to point out is that Moonbyul sees Solar as always the cute one no matter what, while Wheein only got complimented by Moonbyul because of what she was wearing.

 

Moonsun is different from other ships from my perspective. They sure do skinship and stuff, and yes that drives me crazy, but that's not the point. In Moonsun, you sense more of a "boy teases a girl he likes" vibe than "omg they are so cute they are always touching each other."

 

Remember when Moonbyul started to post old pictures of Solar and her together? It seemed so subtle to me. I guess it was because they were closer to each other than the maknae line but still it was so couple-like. Have you seen Wheein and Hwasa post stuff since they first met and all their private pictures? No. I know girls like to post pictures like "I love you X <3" but Moonbyul's caption was very like, romantic? I WISH I COULD FIND THAT TWEET I'M TOO LAZY TO BACKTRACK

Well, I say that I can tell she's acting like she's in a relationship because every little nuance she does points towards being in an emotionally invested relationship with someone beyond the levels of platonic friendship (although platonic romance is VERY much a possibility with these two)

 

The way MB does inappropriate things like the gif below on stage. She touches Solar, Solar clearly doesn't mind but she's acting like they've been caught with their hands in the cookie jar. It's the face a girl makes when her parents spot her boyfriend putting his hand on her thigh when they're chilling at home with the 'rents in the living room.

 

I have a straight best friend (We are like freaking close as hell) and we are very touchy feely and hug and do all kinds of skinship similar to other 'ships people mention but I guarantee if I show her MoonSun she'd say "you found another lesbian couple to spazz about?" and when i say no theyre just friends she'll gimme a look and say "hell naw, they ain't friends, they either lesbians or two straight girls f*cking". Because you just don't see intimacy like this between friends without it being more. Solar and Byul have been through a lot from training and if they were just straight friends that were close they would be like TaeNy but by God these two are more, so much more than TaeNy ever were. They almost remind me of KryBer when they were at their peak except MoonSun are basically glued to each other and Byul is constantly up in Solar's grill with compliments and love and physical affection.

 

Another reason that makes me think they are more than friends is that the fact they aren't dating actively dating at the moment so they are seeking physically contact and affirmation that way but my guess is that it definitely extends beyond the stage and this isn't just for show, that we are seeing on stage is just a sliver of what MoonSun is like when there are no cameras around. Even Whee In and Hwasa's reactions confirm it, they are almost fed up of their unnies constant flirting but find it cute so bear it but wanna roll their eyes in every vid. If MoonSun is fake and that is a HUGE if... then someone contact Hollywood and get these two a goddamn Oscar because even the movie "Carol" can't portray Sapphic sisters that damn well!

As Bootae you have an investigator Profile and can discriminate things that I can't see. They aren't dating but in Korea does it really mean something to don't have boyfriend in early ages ?

 

In my point of view, it's impossible to faking a relation like that. IMPOSSIBLE, because as I said before we can't always lie about ourselves, moreover how we can faking a relationship or even a friendship?  When you don't like someone it's obvious as when you love someone it's obvious too. They love each other but how much ? This is not a normal friendship for sure, two friends will never do that even if in Korea social friendship norms wants that two girls holding hand, go out together and so on. Here it's different, we can feel it, as someone already said it Moonbyul already kiss Wheein cheeks and Solar already kissed Hwasa cheeks, but why they never kissed each other ? They're just afraid of what people would think, because they are aware of "moonsun shipper" (for sure, it's just normal narcissistically to check internet for what people told about us, I mean for famous people). If they already know the MAMAMOO thread, so they already see what we told about their relationship.
