Ideas for things to do while in korea

Tiramisu.

Recommended Posts

On the 17th of December, i will be going to Korea and have not fully planned on what to do and stuff to do during my stay i have about 7 days to fill in. So i was wondering if anyone who went there - anyone in general who has a basic idea of what to do there - can help me out a little (?) I do have ideas but they're all messed up, so it would be less stressful if the general public could help out a little

Anything like places, stuff to do, things to try, food to eat would be great :derp:  :derp:

Everland

Fish markets

Onemount Snow Park

COEX park is overrated.

N Tower

Cheap places to shop; still good quality: Ehwa, Namdaemun, Dongdaemun <--- They don't let you fit the clothes; you'd have to buy them as it is.

Go to Myeongdong for shopping ( a lot of chinese in the area) and Dongdaemun. Apgujeong Rodeo for small and super expensive boutiques and a few tourists attractions related to celebs. Gangnam generally if you want celebrity spotting.

Hongdae for street performances and college, hipster sort of culture, Ehwa campus is gorgeous, check it out.

You also have to Yongsan Electronics market, the Hangang river (which is really pretty) and much more.

Have fun!!

Go to one of those places where you cook your own meat

and try go partying, maybe fuck an actual Korean person.

Oh, that's what I did.

Try the street foods!

I'm not sure where in seoul the place that have a lot of street foods stalls, but when I'm in Jeonju I tried a lot of street foods and they're tasty, tastier and cheaper than k-street foods that are sold in my country, haha

Most of these are Seoul-based

For shopping: Myeongdong, Dongdaemun (esp the night market), Hongdae, Sinchon, Ewha, Gangnam (if you have a lot of money on you), Lotte Mall in Jamsil, inside subway stations (Gangnam and Myeongdong have the biggest)

For entertainment/leisure: Lotte World or Everland, Gangchon Rail Biking (there's this tunnel you go through that blasts Psy's music), Namsan Tower, Hangang River

For cultural stuff: the palaces, Seoul Museum of History

For food: fish markets, Tteokbeokki Town in Sindangdong (district in Seoul)

For Kpop: JYP,SM,FNC,and Cube Ent buildings are all close to each other and are located in Apgujeong, Gangnam District. Cube Ent Cafe and JYP are literally diagonally across the street from each other (Cube Cafe food is way overpriced tho...). YG is also in Gangnam, but not in the same area as the four I listed above. For Kpop goods, there are small shops in Myeongdong Station that sell Kpop goods. That's where I got most of my Kpop merchandise. And at Dongdaemun Station, if you go to Lotte Fitin Bulding and go up to the 9th floor, there's K-Live, aka the first Kpop hologram performance hall. You can also purchase merchandise there, too.
