NGT48 Collab with McDonalds: Release of 48-Piece Bucket of Chicken Nuggets in Niigata

McDonald's Japan is releasing 48-piece buckets of Chicken McNuggets, featuring NGT48 members. This will be available in Niigata prefecture, where NGT48 (Japan's newest 48 sister group) is based. One bucket will be priced at 1,800 yen, or around $15.

 

The usual limit to an order of Chicken McNuggets in the USA is 40 pieces.

I went to this vegan mexican(-ish) place that had a lot of fake meats on the menu; I ordered the "fish" tacos out of curiosity and the imitation meat didn't come apart in layers the way I'd want fish (in tacos, anyway) to, but I thought the frying came off really well and the texture was good enough to be fake chicken nuggets.  So you know, there is hope!!!

Never have any of the groups had some high-and-almighty ojou-sama identity. Their identity is 'idols that you can meet'. And serving customers is one way that they're making it happen perfectly.

 

48G has done collabs with tons of other things in Japan, like 7eleven. For some reason, this one just happened to trend a lot more.
