technicolor.girl 7,824 Posted December 1, 2013 Share Posted December 1, 2013 (edited) If YG doesn't already have his foundation (e.g. GDYB for BB, CL for 2NE1, KSY for WINNER) for this group, that'd really suck and I wouldn't even know why he'd start teasing for this group without that person/people. It definitely does not seem like Eunbi is the foundation of the group - more like just an addition...if ever she still is in the group. I don't hate Jennie at all, but I'm really just hoping that YG's promotions for her are just his attempts to try to establish her as face of a group that has talent & isn't just a pretty face, and not because she's actually the most talented member. Her first appearance was in a MV after all, and I feel like YG only felt the need to put her on so many things in an attempt to convince people of her singing/rapping rather than just the usual visual member duties. It worked for some, and it just bothered others, lol. Maybe the Without You girl could be the ace of the group, idk, I like her voice a lot. We've also seen a lot of the blonde girl but we're not actually sure what her skills are. It looked like she was the same girl playing guitar that was on Infinite Challenge too, so maybe she can compose songs and whatever. But anyway, I just hope when things are in actual motion for this girl group, YG will start bringing out the stuff that'll make people less anxious about this group's talents and just be consistent with everything. technicolor.girl 7,824 Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 For me, the more silent YG is with the girl group and how things are going to go on with them, the better I feel about things rather than having him just continue talking about them and having nothing happen. Look at what happened with KSY + WIN for example - back in late 2012, YG said some stuff about KSY releasing a single around January or basically the first quarter of 2013, then he went all quiet about him for the most part of the first half of 2013, and then in rather rapid succession we got three KSY singles, a show about the YG boy group, and then eventually - the debut of a new YG boy group. I have to give YG his due regard in terms of how everything with WIN went - from the program itself to its reception, things went well with proper planning. I'd rather give him the time to fix his shit/game plan for 2014 now rather than give me something half-assed again. Pre-debut, KSY & LSH were spotted there too. -- Judging off the pics and official stuff YG's put out, the lineup seems like it hasn't changed that much - there were seven girls in the dance practice and now there are six, which would make sense since Euna's out. At GD's concert, it seems pretty obvious that Eunbi is still around. The very blonde trainee looks like one of the girls in the dance practice video in a way, lol, but the basis isn't that much since comparison wouldn't be that great quality but I think it's likely that she's there. In WIN, you could see that YG already has certain groups trainees together - just like how BI, Jinhwan & Bobby had already been grouped together for a long time - same for Jinwoo, and KSY. Of course sometimes the lineups change, but going with the pictures that have been coming out, I don't think the lineup of this group has changed drastically since the day that YG first started teasing for them. ...also, I don't know how many times I have to keep repeating this, but just STOP posting pictures of random Korean girls who "might" be in the group especially those blurry photos since I don't know who the hell those would help anyway. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No way are you going to get a definitive answer from anyone here unless you go and ask the person who took the photo itself and blurred it. Even since Hallyu8 there were people doing the same thing - posting blurred photos and asking if the blurred girl in question is in the group - and it never goes anywhere productive. Also, if you backtrack the thread, there have been previous comments about people posting random/terribly blurred photos. Next, I wasn't talking to you in specific, but I was mostly talking in general. YG x Samsung project is some music release project between the two companies. I don't think Samsung has any bearing (at least, that equal to Teddy's influence on 2NE1) on the kind of music that'll be put out. So the confirmed ones are Eunbi, Jennie, Jisoo, Lalice & "Miyeon"? So currently there are 5 lineups for now or are they hiding the 6th? There's also a picture with 6 girls and a bodyguard at the back (can't post, on a phone) but I heard one of the girls aren't members? YG is taking too long. Welcome! Last YG said officially, he had six girls left, and going off the fantaken pics, I think there are still six girls. Like you said, the "confirmed" ones are pretty much Eunbi, Jennie, Jisoo, Lalice and...well blonde trainee - though other people have taken to calling her Miyeon I guess, lol, so I think there's one girl who's still rather unknown. Nobody's quite sure who the black haired girl is - some people think it's Jisoo, Jennie, etc, but no one can really say for sure, so perhaps she might be the 6th member. I think most people really enjoy the new look YG has given her. YG knows these girls are going to get judged a lot on their looks, so he's probably going to make sure that they get styled very well. Especially Eunbi, lol, she's in need of some re-packaging. The girl's Superstar K2 outfits were pretty bad to say the least about them and her haircut - just no. Most likely, K-netizens are unfortunately probably going to bash either way on the looks of these girls, but good styling really gives most - if not all idols, a lot of help on getting to sway people into being convinced of how attractive they can be. Not sure if this constitutes talking about ex-trainees/rumored trainees and all those other rules you guys made a few pages back, but I'll put it in spoiler anyway. It might have to do with mystery member #6. So, there's a rumor regarding what could be the mystery 6th member. Apparently there had been a Woollim trainee, or potential Woollim trainee, from 1-2 years ago who left and just recently some info surfaced about her which said that she actually ended up joining YG and is the girl who sang in GD's 'Finally'. Her name is Yoo Jeung-eun, she is a 95-er and was formerly a student at DEF Skool. It's said she was friends with and followed two of Woollim's girl group trainees on twitter, supossedly Seo Jisoo and Minji, neither of which are yet confirmed girl group members either. But it's weird because YG also had a rumored trainee called "Yoo(n) Jung-eun (1996)" as well as a Jisoo and a Minji, so whether they are the same or two different 'Jung-eun' who got mixed up is also something to consider. Of course as there's no way of knowing if this is true, take it with a grain of salt. I've looked around for proof, but I think this is a rumor that stayed pretty much within the K-fan community, specifically the Woollim girl group fan community. I'm not saying this to give this rumor any validity, but if it is true that the Woollim girl group fans were the ones who found this info out, it's possible they could be onto something. They have been pretty accurate so far. They were able to figure out that Woollim was going to shortly reveal a girl group member earlier this year and then less than a month later Yoo Jiae was revealed. Also when Xiumin was rumored to be filming an mv for a Woollim artist they found out it was Park Myungeun's (JIN) debut before the artist's name was announced. I apologize now if any of this is old news. I think one of the Minji's you mentioned is most likely Im Minji - who is now a member of FIESTAR and goes by the name Linzy. If he can, then I might re-consider the possibility of this group debuting this year. Same. Just used the source that Jess crediited over at the YG Family thread. Based on her tweets, I think she went over the to one of the YG buildings today? The girl who supposedly took the photo doesn't seem familiar with the YG girl group, and I think she was only there for Team B. The people who identified the photo were not her, etc. Keep your own opinions, and don't force your opinions on other people or belittle others'. It's called respect. ANYWAY, moving on... I also think YG seems to be in a more confident place with this girl group now. The lineup seems pretty set up, considering that last year we got to see the girls at the new YG building last year. The new YG building is where all the producers are at, etc. If they weren't making music for their debut or etc, YG was probably finalizing the lineup then - since if I remember right, 2NE1's lineup was set after they made Pretty Boy in the studio together? Or well, something like that. In terms of lineup, Lalice, Jennie, Jisoo, Blondie, and Eunbi (I think YG would've said something again if she had gotten the boot) seem to be set. I'd think that YG would keep the girl who featured on Without You, but who knows. I'd like it if she were still in the group though, I liked her voice. Also, for the person who was asking about "Miyeon" I think this is where the supposed confirmation is from: Some YG trainees were seen on Infinity Challenge. Lastly, what I'm also curious about is if YG's going to have a replacement for WINNERTV that'll hopefully involve this girl group, lol. If I'm not mistaken, WINNERTV replaced WIN on Mnet right? I think the two have the airing time, etc. I just wonder if YG will have Mnet keep that timeslot for him.
