This is my opinion of Jenny please don't think I'm shading her or New Zealand

I used to live in NZ and from my experience, bullying is more prevalent in schools there compared to other countries I've lived in. I've witnessed quite a number of cases of people being bullied and I knew a couple people who chose to be home schooled because they/their parents were worried about them being bullied. My mother used to work with children and even she noticed that bullying seems to be more tolerated in NZ. Because of this I wouldn't actually be surprised is the rumours of Jenny bullying people were true. I'm not saying she's a bad person or anything but usually if you're around a group of people who are doing something that isn't so nice you'll tend to do it as well just so you'll feel as if you fit better into the group.

Like I wrote before, please don't try and think I'm trying to shade NZ, I'm just basing this on my experience. Maybe, the town I lived in was the one with the bullying problem and everywhere else it was nothing like that. I'll never know for sure. I actually really like NZ. I made some great friends there and the landscape there is really great. All I know is that compared to all of the countries/cities/towns that I've lived in, the school in the town where I lived in NZ had the highest proportion of bullies I've ever experienced

Children of 2nd gen immigrants or ones who have lived there since childhood tend to ostracise fobs bc 'eww fob' 'lol awkward'. I'm partially guilty of that too since if you're too nice or whatever they follow you like Jesus. So I won't be surprised if Jennie & her friends ostracised the girl but lol the throwing trash bit seems a bit exaggerated.

It happened with 2NE1. That's how the gained their fanbase. They wouldn't have much fans if they didn't have 2NE1TV because they barely go on variety shows.

I'm expecting the new GG to go on a lot of variety shows, act and MC on both radio shows and music shows but they its still possible for them to get a variety show.

When 2NE1 debuted the market wasn't saturated, times have changed. It's a lot harder now for a gg to build a fanbase.

Miyeon/blondie is probably YG's last hope. She's pretty, (well from the side anyways since we haven't seen her up close), she can play the guitar, she can probably compose (since there was paper and pencil on the table when they saw her during IC), and she can supposedly rap and sing. I hope we can see of her soon. She seems pretty talented. I also hope we see the ê²°êµ girl soon, she has a nice voice

Mte. I can see Miyeon being a breakout star of this gg, she gives me CL vibes.

So this supposed ex-YG trainee talks about YG's new GG b.c she trained with them.

Just as a disclaimer, even though it may seem real, one should take it with a grain of salt anyways.

Some of it just sounds like BS. But it's interesting though.

Sections talking about he GG:

"I remember it was late 2011 when the first line up for the girl group was to be announced also the whole plan for the group would be announced as well. Day by day more and more information was announced. Obviously the first two line up trainees were Kim Euna and Kim Eunbi, but there were also two other girls that had made it in at the same time also. Jennie Kim was announced just shortly after. Take note that they were only LINE UPS, meaning they were POTENTIAL members. Weeks and weeks passed and I could say roughly seven girls were put into line-up order and three were cut, I BELIEVE. During this time the new boy group announcements took place as well, but the announcements between the two different groups were very much segregated. I remember this day clearly. It had been about two weeks since they last made any announcements to trainees about the new girl group. They posted up a new line-up, it was the 4th one and checking the list, my heart dropped. I remember feeling extremely happy but scared at the same time. My Australian friend and I were in the 4th line up. We were so excited, you don’t even know. We began to train even harder. Trainee life was hard, but preparing for debut was even harder.

By the time I was a potential member it was already almost 2012, roughly around the time I joined the company two years ago. My contract was almost ending and I would have to resign another or drop. The current Line-up members weren’t as talented as I thought they would be, but the girls were extremely pretty. I think it’s safe to say that Jennie and Jisoo are definite members for the group. YG extremely favors Jennie because of her unique style and her English accent spices things up a bit. Jisoo is overall extremely pretty and dances very well. We had many dance practices and evaluations. It was so intense I tell you. I was slowly beginning to second guess myself. It was the perfect time to do so as well. YG pulled me aside and talked to me about my contract. I had the choice to resign it or give up all I had worked hard for. I remember it clearly, I was slowly slipping away from my dreams, those endless nights of dreaming about singing were fading. I was already a potential member so why give up now, those words were always in my head, it still is today. After thinking about it for so long, I made the decision to drop my dreams. My initial dream was to become someone else. It wasn’t much about becoming a singer. It was either now or never.. Once I was IN, there was no way out. I needed to act now or never. I didn’t resign the contract and left the company shorty after. Honestly, I don’t think I would have made it far anyways, it seems I lacked too much in my dancing and my look wasn’t what the group was looking for. I’ll tell you this, the group is very much an innocent concept taking the bad girl path. My look wasn’t much like that. So yes I left the group and today I’m attending school and chasing a different dream.  I can’t give you guys too much information on the group, even if I did, it could have been changed by now. All I can say is that ‘Pink Punk’ is NOT the name of the group. During the time that I left YG, six unconfirmed girls remained in the group. Euna was still in when I left (she’s out now obviously) and they had plans to drop Lalice because she lacked in singing and wasn’t learning Korean as accurately. Also there is another girl in the group who is talented in so many ways and she hasn’t been revealed yet, I have a strong feeling she is this group’s secret weapon."

Since noobs keep necro-ing debunked 'potential members', should we add a spoiler in the OP of the thread listing all the debunked members?

Also sorry to the 72 people who follow this topic, our efforts seem a bit futile...
