I'm just curious why people didn't get angry back then when leon released ? In leon movie, the "pedophile concept" was too real... and when iu bring matilda as the main character, isn't it quite obivious ?

 

isnt it's park myung soo that was adamant about the leon & maltilda concept. like he literally tell iu to dress as maltilda for a couple episode before she finally give in.

I dont know is park myung soo suggest iu about leon matilda concept, but i remmember pms say to iu to cut her hair

Oh yeah, i remember it too. I'm quite shock when i see iu's short hair in infinity challange (i thought she really cut her hair)

Using sexy to describe a child is uncomfortable for many, including in western countries. Can't you understand that? It doesn't make you a pedophiler. IU haters were using inflammatory language when they called her a pedo. IU isn't one but she unfortunately linked a five year old's characteristics with sexy. Then her drawing of him wasn't clear so it looked like he was posed suggestively wearing fish net hose. The combination was just bad.

She didn't draw that. For the album art, she let a professional artist draw it because she's actually terrible at drawing. This is what her original art looked like:

Ok, while the drawing was not done by her, it was on her album so it's hers. regardless, can you not understand why the average person would be upset at the linkage?

 

You also need separate the haters from the average person. The average person upset but don't hate IU. Haters will find fault in everything. Two different groups of people. Average person easily forgives and hope she realized her error and not do it again. It's the haters that are dragging this on. Average person has moved with their lives.

I also asked myself this multiple times. I don't think Koreans are aware of the pedophile undertones of Leon's relationship with Matilda tbh. If they found out it'd surely get brought up during the Zeze mess. Even if the concept wasn't IU's idea, knetz would find a way to blame it on IU.

Erm no i don't think you understand the word "sexy".

 

Normal average people use the word "sexy" to mean "naked", like human beings are suppose to wear clothes, then you see a mother leaves her baby naked for like 3 minutes (while she attends to something else), and you will say to the mother "Eh the kid there is sexy not wearing clothes" meaning you are saying "sexy" to tell people the kid is still naked, maybe the mom forgot, no one in the room even if there are 20 people in the room will care for the word "sexy" because it obviously means naked.

 

Even if you watch U.S movie, like if a family member has some clothes malfunction "oops a little sexy there" means it's a little revelation due to some clothes malfunction, NOT SAYING the body of that person is sexually statisfying or anything.
