The adults are now leaving angry reviews on the product's amazon page.

One aunt wrote that her niece begged her not to cut her “long, beautiful†hair, but they were ultimately forced to. Source.

The maker of the toy has released an instructional video on how to remove Bunchems from hair.

Also, it's important to note that there is a warning on the box which states that Bunchems should be kept away from hair.

But really, the instructions state that you should not put them in your hair!! And for those that say "they're just kids, you can't expect them to follow the instructions" then 1)Then don't buy them the toy. 2)These girls look big enough to be able to follow instructions. They had to learn one way or another, even if it entailed losing their "long, beautiful hair".

Also, these adults are exaggerating. There really is no reason why they should complain about this. It's not the company's fault that their kids can't follow instructions.

i can understand like one or two getting stuck in their hair but that many? also i feel like these couldn't been taken out of their hair without having to cut, i mean it might have taken a while, but still.

But parents don't buy gums for their kids. Those kids buy it themselves in elementary school.

These toys don't look like it would be gum, at least give a BIG warning "These toys were similar to chewing gum".
