NavajoMongoloid 53 Posted November 18, 2015 Share Posted November 18, 2015 its not bad but I wish they would have chosen something with more of a chinese/east asian character rather than a western inspired one. considering lotr and got are based on celtic mythology and medieval history, its not that hard to find equivalents to those in chinese history or mythology( qin - han dynasty, hongshan culture, three emperors and five souvereigns, chiyou and other legendary creatures, ancient royal tombs, chinese bronze age artefacts, sword of king goujian vs spear of fuchai, absorbing and assimilating northern eastern western and southern barbarians, the rise of peasant emperors like gaozu and hongwu, peach blossom land, or accounts of a mythological land to the far east- possibly the americas-, sanxingdui etc. so much potential going to waste in favor of something thats already been done) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
