What has Shinee accomplished for people to say they're better than Big Bang

I'm not asking this to be rude. I saw somewhere that the majority of people think Shinee is better than Big Bang. I don't know a lot about shinee and I would like to know what accomplishments they have accumulated to put them on Big Bang's level

 

BB had the best selling album this year with MADE and the highest viewed music videos and won the most awards at music shows for boy groups (I think)

 

Shinee's latest comeback song with View didn't sell so well and I don't think it charted as high either

 

While I know Big bang is unique, shinee has been compared to fx as well as Infinite

 

I'm curious what other accomplishments they have to make people compare them to the acclaimed "Kings of kpop" and to even go as far as saying they're better than them.

BB might have sold more songs than Shinee thanks to Vips and YG stans but that doesn't mean that BB are better than Shinee.

 

i personally enjoy Shinee songs more than i do with BB and their "swaggy" shit ^_^

Pretty sure no one said that SHINee were more successful than Big Bang - it's just a matter of musical/personal preference.  Though to answer your question, SHINee has still achieved a lot. Not as much as their seniors, but still more than 80% of K-Pop groups out there today.

 

I'm not sure where you're getting your information about View not selling well, because it did EXTREMELY well - high physical sales, high digital, and won 9 music shows (11 if 2 of them weren't cancelled due to baseball games fml). They sold out Tokyo Dome twice earlier this year - 55k people per night, 110k people in total. They've had 4 successful Korean (+ international) concert tours and are about to start their 4th Japanese concert tour in January (and it's most likely they'll add 1-2 dome concerts onto the end of it as well, and MAYBE a dome tour).

 

And there's a ton of other things that I won't bother to list since I've gone on enough already, but they are definitely an accomplished group!

But it's normal to prefer ur bias group whether it is better or not

 

If all th kpop fans have the same taste there would be one group only

But sincefans have different taste.. many of them see shinee better than bigbang

Even some of rookie group can prefer their group than BB or shinee

I think their is a very negative energy people have towards BB on this forum of course its not everyone but I noticed a lot people hate them to an extreme amount it seems like its either someone is a BB fan or hates their guts here.
