how many of your faves do you think read what's written about them? GD already talked about seeing the suicide petitions he got (i feel like those really affected him for a while honestly) and i remember a pann post about mino reading his comments as well. I hope RV never read those "fat" posts..

Some knetz have no chill

it's not just knets let's be real   :imstupid:

this kind of made me realize how weird it can be for the artist to see what people say about you. I mean it's nice if it's positive but something else if people constantly shit on you. Plus it's not like you can do anything, they're (conveniently) anonymous and behind a computer screen so....

Call them out King Junhoe, some of them really do go overboard.

And I felt that Bobby reads internet comments, especially with his "Now that's real hip hop" comment recently, it seemed like he was poking fun at himself like others did. I'm glad he has such a strong mentality.

I'm sure all the idols read comments. I can recall Netizenbuzz translating an article about it:

"One idol star who's performed on stages all across the world once approached me with a netizen's ID and asked if I knew who that was. Of course, I had no idea. I negged him for being so caught up in one hateful reply when he was receiving the love of so many, but he was serious.

"This netizen leaves a comment on every article related to me saying that he hates me. What about me does he hate? I really want to just spend 10 minutes and talk with him and see if he still hates me then. I want to know what he wants me to do for him to not hate me. There probably is no other option than to disappear from his eyes, right?""

When you actually take into account how much negativity almost all idols go through literally 24/7 (death threats, fat shaming, constant bashing, wrongful accusations, suicide petitions), it does make me admire idols a bit more for their strong mentalities. Sometimes it's not as simple as "lol just ignore it" if those are the only inputs that are continually surrounding you and coming from the outside world... it can and does affect you subconsciously to an extent

It would be tough to resist the temptation to search yourself up on the internet as an Idol especially if you are actually famous

That's true and this is also the reason why most companies do not give them to use the internet especially during their debut years because the companies don't want these things to affect them. These things can demoralize some of the idols.

I've read it and this one stood out the most

"It's funny because in reality, if you took any of these netizens leaving hateful replies and brought them right in front of you, they'd be on their knees saying sorry."

so, to catch His Hotness's attention I have to be a real bitch?  :hehe:

good to know what Junhoe searches.

I wonder if they read  messages posted on Korean sites or they understand English and use to read messages from twitter, instagram, kpop sites. If I were an idol, I would read everything about me, including fanfictions ...lol
