I'm glad Chaeyoung answered on how good-looking and charming Mina is (even said her heart flustered bcs of it), because i found whenever some members get a question like this, most of the time they gave the most reasonable answer/reply.

I agree with this so much! I noticed it especially after Jihyo answered w/ that good wife comment. Mina definitely has all those qualities, but she always replies w/ a "am I really like that?" whenever the members give out obvious answers (like she's not satisfied), whereas Chaeyoung seems to say all the things she wants to hear   Chaeyoung also added on during radio that Mina is smart; I like how open they are~

 

 

edit: I've been in hiding for a long time aha, but my love for MiChaeng has not changed   Thanks for all this MiChaeng goodness. Also, I just wanna throw it out there that even if they won't ever "date", it's so possible for them to actually have feelings for each other... I mean c'mon, Mina's only just turned into an adult and Chaeng isn't even. They young and need to love

Yes in Chaeng's solo v, when the members(Dahyun, Mina, and Tzuyu) came back from practicing, they went straight to the maknaes room and introduce themselves without showing their face on camera. This was after Jihyo and Nayeon showed up but then Jihyo left and came back with oranges and gave them to Chaeyoung and Nayeon. You'll know its the Michaeng moment when you see Nayeon or Chaeng is handed a small plushie. It happens a seconds after that.. I can confuse people sometimes so if someone has that part as a vid or gif or maybe even explain it better...

I saw that moment, it really only happened for a split second. Mina's English was cute >< Actually, they both have an interest in English don't they? kk something in common

Hey guys, this is my first post on this thread. At first, I really thought that this ship was just a fanservice/friendship kind of ship. But, I have been persuaded to think the opposite, at least for now. I'm actually seeing this ship as something that could be real now.

 

I've only ever shipped one couple in the romantic sense (Kryber). When I mean shipping romantically, I mean it for real, I don't mean the cutesy friendship that makes you want to ship them, but instead one that screams "you guys belong together!". So that's saying a lot for my support of this ship. I go overboard when it comes to Kryber, I will literally sink with the ship, I'm also very attached to the ship. So, once I go through the materials on this thread, and I have established MiChaeng as a romantic ship, you will probably seeing me on every page, and I will probably be talking a whole load of theories (it might sound like a fanfic sometimes).

 

PS. Sorry for talking about Kryber, but I felt I needed to talk about them, because they're my one and only romantic ship and also my ultimate OTP.

 

EDIT: I forgot to say, Mina is my bias. So that's probably why I'm really interested in this ship. Just like how Amber is my bias and I ship Kryber.

 

 

Also, this isn't about MiChaeng. But I am very close to thinking that 2yeon is somewhat real. But I'm not sure if it's just fanservice or Nayeon just being her normal self. She confuses me. Anyone got any input to this? Just tell me off if you don't want to talk about 2yeon. I don't mind, this is a MiChaeng thread anyway.

 

 

Haha I have hardcore ships like MiChaeng and MoonSun then the cutesy ones like SaiDa for fun. Mina's fondness for Chaeng is definitely more than just a casual friend imo but I'm still considering Chaeng. I think Chaeng could have real crush-like feelings for Mina but she can't identify them yet, so she settles w/ "Mina is so freakin' handsome"   Also Chaeng doesn't seem like the type who would overdo things just for fan service, since she's so straight forward, so I tend to look at her actions + gaze more *detective goggles*. Whereas Mina would do everything for fan service 

 

 

I was just thinking about 2yeon today so even if it's off topic, I'll share my thoughts: Compared to Chaeyoung, Nayeon seems straight af to me but she just constantly wants affection and attention from her closer friends. She's really touchy touchy, so it's kinda hard to tell. Most of her interactions are very friendly though, even though she aggressively wants Jungyeon's attention lol If you have more comments on it bring it over to the official 2Yeon or Nayeon thread~

 

 

edit: it would be nice to keep a certain distance from your ships, we should at least know that we have a foot in delululand lol

 

edit 2: I follow some Japanese acts and can I add that it is common (in their culture) for a girl to have a huge girl crush on their own band mate then gush about it? They call themselves a big "fan", loving everything about their crush/having heart flutters, which is exactly what Mina is experiencing. Since Mina has been so loyal, I hope she follows through kkk and it doesn't end up being a phase ><

God, How could I forget about MoonSun. Maybe because they're so gay to the point that I don't even see them as a ship anymore 

 

I only go delulu with good reason so don't worry about that. I only write theories (sometimes turning into a fanfic) based on hard evidence.

 

Chaeng is pretty straight forward with her crush on Mina. But the thing with Chaeng is, she speaks like she does have a crush on Mina, yet she doesn't act like it most of the time.   And then Mina is just an awkward penguin...

 

Also, I agree with your point on the Japanese acts, they do have admiration and crushes on fellow band mates but idk if it ever turns into something. Japan is also pretty accepting of homosexuality, a lot of Japanese people have said that the reason might be because of one of the well respected men in their history being open to having sex with men..... And in Korea, the younger generation is very accepting of "same-sex love" so yeah, I'd like to think that a lot of the younger generation in Korea is more open to the idea of having feelings for the same sex.

 

I went off topic and gave you a culture lesson instead... I'm sorry 

 

 

Btw, I took really long to reply because there was MiChaeng moment uploaded on the main thread and I needed to find it because it was really cute. And it shows Mina's awkward/shy nature. The main thread is really so impressive, this was only posted 2 days ago and yet I already had to dig through 18 pages just to find it

Also, I will have to watch more 2yeon to see. I do agree that Nayeon is just touchy touchy and affectionate by nature so it probably isn't a realistic ship.

 

 

idky but Chaeng sometimes denies Michaeng stuff... Like on the MiChaeng V-App when a comment read "Mina is a big fan of Chaeng", Chaeyoung is like "eyy I don't think so." Gurl is in denial mode that's why her actions are like that  Maknae is so confusing, I'll just trust Mina to sail the ship 

 

Yeah it seems more acceptable to talk about it in Japanese entertainment, too whereas in Korea it's always "if I were a guy..." Younger generation is pushing forward! It's only a matter of time now kk Lol it's okay I kinda started the cultural thing xD

Chaeng is like a tsundere.. she doesn't always show her feelings and when she does, she shows it so casually like it's not a big deal. I'm thankful mina is so loyal to her haha

That's true but... Chaeng totally gets flustered over Tzuyu but w/ Mina she has more subtle (but still lovable) reactions. I repeat: maknae is confusing  Chaeng is too interesting a character, I cannot figure her out just by observation and I have almost nothing in common w/ her other than the love for arts/literature. I also thank Mina's loyalty :p So this is kinda why I think we don't even need to change the OP yet. I will wait for the day Chaeng receives or gives a kiss to Mina   I don't think this is reaching considering Twice's love for kisses and Once's constant requests lol

I don't think Chaeyoung saw the bottle as you could clearly see that she was not paying attention to Mina or what was infront of her - meaning it was not intentional.
