When the tea is too good [American politics]

No matter which way you look at it, right now Clinton and Sanders are going in roughtly the same direction and share many of the same ideas.

Its just that one is more well known and electable to the public. So imo, there's really no point in splitting up the democratic party over this when we're just going to get the same result.

Ex-liberal here. Fuck the democrats. #Trump2016

God. I am no fan of Hilary, but anyone would be better than Trump. All of his plans so far basically just spell out financial disaster, and that's with out getting into all of the other issues I have with him.

its great that he believes in racial equality, if only he also believed in gender equality.

he does tho lol https://berniesanders.com/issues/fighting-for-womens-rights/ ,tho ew at him bringing up the pay gap. There are literally so many more solid arguments for gender equality and he chooses the one stats with the most "what ifs" lel.

good thing i don't have to vote this time lol. but yea feel the bern.

Bernie's plan of free healthcare, all college debt forgiven, and free tuition for college makes all the financial sense in the world.....

America is currently broke and he just wants to tax and spend. You tax the 1% (that millennials seems to hate so much for some odd reason when the vast majority of people strive to be that successful) enough and they will do what any reasonable person would... MOVE.

Ohh and just an off topic question, how did the 1% become the 1%. Where did the money come from!? Us, the people who bought their products and services. Seems like kind of a dick move to demand that money back because we want more free shit.

I agree with Bernie on many issues, but seriously doubt he can get nominated much less win.  And if he did win, what would happen?  Would he be able to get his agenda through congress?  It's a nice dream but not possible in the America I live in.

And yet, I might still give him my vote, LOL.

I would like him as president and will vote but at the same time, we'd have to still do everything in the future to make government even in terms of Democrats and Republicans. I can see him not being able to accomplish anything with all the republicans in office.

I've yet to see a front runner on either side that is actually electable in a general election.

republicans are just upset with the establishment and political correctness and democrats are putting forth a woman who did more things wrong than general patrus (and he didn't exactly get way scot free).  sanders deserves my respect, but he's way to liberal to me.

an election is just about what social issues you agree with.  it's also about finances, federal regulatory issues and international issues. it's great that someone has always supported miniorites rights to access, but that won't fix the budget deficit or our worsening relations with Russia.  right now, they are all (on both sides) a complete joke to me.  I live in SC and we have the third primary (I think?  it's the "first in the south" at least) so I need to be making a decision soon, but none of them are electable to me.

(for the record, I also think that someone who has never held a political office trying to become president is an utter joke.   do people not understand that it takes the average president - all of whom have political experience and some working contacts in DC when they are elected - about a year to fully get their office up and running?  electing someone who understands a boardroom where what they say goes is just asking for a disaster.  if you can't do give and take, then please exit stage left as soon as humanly possible.)
