What was the purpose of that "elimination" of Yoyo and New Jin aside from being the "plot twist" of the show? 

 

Tbh that episode was like when Team A won for the 1st time in win. 

 

to make them cry, to make Ot6 fans cry, to make a show

so that June could say words like "why do we have to do this against each other" and stuff

 

and no focus on Newjin

I see nothing changes: ikon is hated but relevant , yg united is still an ass, boys are getting new fans every day, jinny still the cutest thing, Yoyo is still and angel, June getting popular slowly, but gradually
