After rewatching this episode, I noticed that Donghyuk didnt get enough screentime. Seems like he was present only in the crying scene in the end 

 

I'm a fan of Johnny's boys, yeah. Actually my DP is a screen cap from the Bad Boys J drama - top to bottom is Watanabe Shota and Fukazawa Tatsuya from Snow Man (undebuted group), and Nakajima Kento from Sexy Zone. I've been waiting for Snow Man's debut since 2009 .____.

 

 

Yes, I agree, I think Donghyuk got the least screentime out of all 8 of them. I think Chanwoo, Jinhyeong, and B.I. got the most this time. I hope he gets more screentime in future episodes.

Jinhyeong is still awkward with the majority sans maybe Bobby and Yunhyeong(these two always-positive kids lol).

I feel like if Jinhyeong is put into B.I group, the atmosphere will be even more tense(cuz I feel like B.I is more strict to him somewhat)but one thing for sure,B.I will help him to bring the best of him out.

 

dafuq YG always have to comment on his own artists's look/body? It's good he praised Yunhyeong's look but Yunhyeong always look cute and good even before he lost some weight.

I think episode 2 showed just how good of a leader B.I. is. I feel like Jinhyeong will be placed into B.I.'s group next time to keep things fair/even. 

 

Hehe I'm really looking forward to Hongseok. Just the fact that he's older, while Jinhyeong and Chanwoo are younger, makes things interesting        B.I. was all "Maknaes have to do the chores~" to the Jinhyeong and Chanwoo but he can't exactly do that to a hyung, right?

Beenzino dragged Bobby who’s trying his best to save his friend from the girl’s flat and unappealing ass. Frustrated, Beenzino asked for the help from his two rachet hoes and managed to throw Bobby into the club. Stumbling, Bobby fell headfirst into the lap of a beautiful stripper. However in that lap Bobby saw a bulge! It’s a man! He pushed away to take a good look at the face and gasped in horror.

 

“Ha-Ha-Hanbin?! What are you doing here?!â€

 

“Hyung! I thought you’re a goody-goody little Christian that never goes to clubs!â€

 

“And I thought your parents are rich! What are you doing working at this strip club.â€

 

“I… I…†Hanbin ran away in his stripper heels, ashamed that Bobby and the 1llionaire hyungs now found out that he’s in financial trouble.

 

“Your friend is in financial trouble, what are you going to do Barbie?â€

 

“I, uh… I guess I should buy him all his lunches from the convenience store from now on?â€

Dejectedly, Bobby walked towards Hanbinie and began to slip bills onto his tongs as he gyrate in front of him.

 

“I’m so proud right now honey.†Dok2 sighed, holding hand tenderly with the Quiett. Beenzino then began an impromptu concert singing all his songs from his new Up all Night EP, available on iTunes for $4.95.

 

After that incident, Bobby’s next song received an ALL KILL on every music charts, and he went on to win SMTM3. True story.

YG′s ′Mix & Match′ Trainees to Hold Fanmeetings in Korea, Japan and China

YG Entertainment′s Mix & Match trainees will be holding a fanmeeting in Korea, China and Japan.

 

To choose the new members of the YG boy group iKON, the survival program Mix & Match will be opening up the iKON fanmeeting Korea, China and Japan Global Voting.

 

The fanmeetings will take place in Korea, China and Japan, meeting with fans from these three countries. It will begin on October 5 at the Osaka Dojima River Forum, continuing on October 11 at Beijing′s Poly Theater. The final fanmeeting will take place in Seoul at D-Cube City D-Cube Park on October 17.

 

The fanmeetings will include a Q&A session, a time for the members to interact with fans, as well as performances by the nine members of the survival program.

 

They will be performing rearrangements of Wait For Me and Just Another Boy to fit all nine members.

 

During these fanmeetings, preliminary voting will be take place. Aside from B.I, Bobby, and Kim Jin Hwan, who are already selected as members, fans will cast votes on the six members for the remaining four spots. The votes will be included in the final results.

 

Mix & Match is a survival audition program in which Team B of Who is Next: WIN as well as three new trainees showcase their talents to win a chace to debut in the new boy group iKON.

The Quiett

He is one of Korea's veteran producers and rappers who had been in the industry since 2003. He used to have his own independent label called the Soul Company, producing tracks for Drunken Tiger, Jerry K, Supreme Team, and Epik High. However, because of some financial issues, he left the company and founded 1llionaire Records together with Dok2. While he is also a solo artist, he is first and foremost a producer, as evident on one of his instrumental album.

 

 

The Quiett's whole frame of work is very odd. Some of his stuff can sound very old school despite being only 3-5 years old, and then some of his work are very '1llionaire' heavy.

Korea's Young King, Young Boss, who became a CEO at only age 21. He is a quarter Phillipino and Spanish, and half Korean. He first debuted under Cho PD's company as a duo. However, his career really begins to take off when he began to be more involved in his production and debuted as a solo. An art student in Seoul University, a model, and a rapper. He emigrated to NZ when he was a child and gained intrest in hip-hop because of his childhood friend. After coming back to Korea, he tentatively pursue it as a side hobby while putting art as his main focus. One day, he gave his gf a listen on one of his EPs and she encouraged him to put it up on a online hip-hop site. -Early in their careers Dok2 and the Quiett (only briefly for the Q) used to belong to JK Tiger's hip-hop collective Movement Crew, which included Epik High, Double K, Dynamic Duo, Lessang.

Jay Park, who was the leader of JYP's 2pm was kicked out of his group because the company found him badmouthing Korea on his old myspace account. He then was sent back to the US and was basically isolated from the K-entertaiment world.

 

After deciding that he wants to break into the music industry again, he met with Dok2, the CEO of 1llionaire records, on one of the leg of his American tour. They both became close friends and ended up doing numerous collaborations with each others, which helped Jay put his feet back into the music industry. Other than song featuring, they are close personal friends. They are seen sprouting the same brand of studded backpacks together, playing with each other's pets, and promoting each other songs on their respective SNS.

 

On numerous occasions Jay expresses that he never thought of creating his own label. He first wanted to join 1llionaire records, however Dok2 and The Quiett rejected him, saying firmly that they wont be able to do justice. management wise, for a big time idol such as Jay Park. As CEOs they believed that they'll be the one benefiting more from Jay's massive fanbase and not the other way around. Man I hope it's nothing serious. :/  The combination of SMTM3 and Mix & Match must have been brutal, on top of his leader duties. I hope it turns out that he took a breather to de-stress. That wording though - "this incident acted as an opportunity to understand the pressures B.I. was facing and the thoughts members had about B.I."  Makes me think YG made B.I. miss practice in order to test the group in his absence, to see how they would do without him.

i find it hard to believe that yg would leave the future of his company in the hands of fans. he went in knowing what he wanted out of this program and he'll choose who he wants in the end.

 

i don't know.i'm just not putting much weight on this 70% fan vote.more like he'll take what the producers/writers/etc. think about the members and their potential into consideration. whose going to be profitable? who will be marketable? who will the company be able to sell to the public?

 

i'm so frustrated :( i wish i could see into his mind because there's several scenarios i could think of as to why he chose to push through and do this program.

Hello, I´m a silent lurker but just wanted to say a few words.

 

I´ve actually seen so many "fans" shit on Hongseok because of the mistranslation that he "doesn´t like hip hop" and also that he has attitude problems. But I don´t even understand how it´s possible to judge a persons character just based on 10 minutes airing time, with that kind of footage that the PDs handpick to stir drama and viewer rating (hello SMTM evil editing anyone, Mnet?). Also even if he didn´t seem the nicest, I don´t think the other members was any kind in welcoming him either (no surprise since the timing he joined was really bad, and he was added so late hence didn´t have the same time to bond/work with the team like Jin and Chanwoo).

 

But I just wanted to say that people who doubt Seok and downplay him because he´s not as polished and well trained as the other members, will probably eat their own words in a few months because his voice is really beautiful and I see talent and potential in him. And it´s not too late for him to pick up with 6 months training  prior to debut, as long as he has talent for it (singing/voice). I´m saying that since Daehyun from B.A.P was added late in the group and only had 6 months training, prior to debut but look at him as a vocalist now and how he´s carrying the group and basically killing, and drawing in fangirls everywhere. 

 

So I bet if Seok gets the right training, he´ll be a really important vocalist for Ikon (that is, if he makes it)  So that´s just my input, and I´ll go back to lurker mode :p

I don't think YDG is a very good at producing people other than himself. Other than him, I hope the SMTM producers showing up really happens! 1llionaire PLEASE I want them back on TV. I still remember The Quiett calling Chamane "a pure contestant, like a shell you find on the beach". Everything they say is SO golden, I wanna see them react to the boys' performances.

 

I'm not very good at guessing but - I think Daesung is a definite yes, as he co-hosted the press conference.

I wanted to try editing and stuff but never had time but yesterday i finally did it. I liked team bobby's performance so i cut it out from the naver version, so no mnet logo less distractions, also almost in the middle of the performance there's a cut to show yg's reaction to bobby breaking the guitar seriously what a major boner killer. So i took off that part and made it one smooth single clip and you can enjoy the whole performance without any interruption.

 

 

Also i wanted to listen to this performance on my phone over the week so i made a mp3 file. I tried to get a better sound for earphones so i made the voice go a bit lower because it was too loud especially at the end not good for your ears, i added some stereo effects and increased the bass a bit. It sounded good in my laptop.

I know that with the addition of the new trainees I'm supposed to shift my attention to them, but day by day I found myself stanning Hanbin even harder. Like I dont know why, but seeing mean leader BI in one scene and a depressed overwhelmed Hanbin in another just makes me go "ARGH NO HANBIN, NOT MY KOKORO." So yeah guys, I have to let this out.

 

Let me list the reasons why I'm suddenly fawning over this little shit.

 

1. He takes on the leader role to the heart

5. In general, he just looks so good distressed
6. He has fucking beautiful V-pelvis-thingy
