since everyone is sharing their stories so i'll share mine too   

 

so at first i saw articles about win but i ignored them
then after a while i saw many threads about mino and he was cute and seemed interesting so i was like im gonna watch the show but i didnt
then recently i heard about bobby and b.i going to smtm3 but i didnt know who they were so i ignored
after that i heard about winner having a debut so since i kinda liked mino i decided to watch win to get some background about them but i didnt
and then one time i was bored and stumbled on bobby's im ill performance when it was first released and i liked it and when i heard that he was in win that did it for me i went to watch it

ok so before i watched the first ep of win i was all for team a bec. they were the winners and i didnt want to like the losing team because well they lost ,so i started doing meditation to like team a i was literally like im gonna like team a im gonna love team a the whole time 

  watching win:

since i suck at memorizing people's faces and names i was shocked to be able to pinpoint yoyo from the others like every time he was showed i knew who he was so i think i just started to look at him but since his screen time was so little i had to focus on other people i was planing to look at team a and mino but i ended up looking at bobby yoyo and team b instead and it didnt help with the tear jerking stories for team a bec. it made them look like the main characters and i have that secondary character syndrome   and thats how it was

I watched WIN because I'm a Bigbang fan and I was curious. I liked both Team A and B, I was OT11.

Now I like both Winner and Ikon. And my bias is Bobby. I'm not original, lol.

How I became a Team B fan:

 

I found out about them during Win, but because they're trainess and havent really came out with their own stuff, I really didn't care much for them. Then I saw double B's "Convenience store escape" and suddenly my heart went byong byong for Bobby and BI('s bromance). There's so many cringe worthy moments from win that I really didnt like either of the teams, but I did like a few individuals (Mino, Bobby, Bi, Jinwhan) But I really became attached to them as a team when I saw Climax, I mean, how i could I not when I'm sobbing at Bi's rap and Junhoe's voice singing those GODDAMN LYRICS T_T BUTTTTTT they lost and i went memboong. THANKFULLY I got distracted by Beenzino's new EP Up All Night, available on iTunes for $4.95. Yes kids, Beenzino's album hugged me so tight that all the broken piece of my heart became one again. His songs can do that.

 

HOWEVER! There is a happy ending to this story! SMTM3 happened, Bobby got adopted by 1llionaire so by law I pledged my credit card to Ikon so they can weather whatever storm that may follow (trans: I became a hopeless fangirl and decided to love them with money. That is the 1llionaire way.)

I watch WIN cos i was bored that bap doesn't have any activities.

 

When i first heard of b.i i watch his predebut videos, and i am a hiphop craze person (that's why i like bap), so i immediately decided to like team b unconditionally xD i didnt care how team a sounded like the whole team a is not so hiphop :/

 

So i was hugely disappointed when team b lose. It's a good thing they improve now, but that "wait for me" is not hiphop so i'm disappointed again.

 

This mix n match is a good show, but i'm conflicted i wanna see more the new trainees but then i will fall in love with them, then it will be loyalty vs new found love >w<

 

Anyway after watching ep3 tomorrow i think i will be able to rank my bias list >w<

It's really nice to be able to read everyone's stories.  Now I can better understand how you guys come to like team B.

Anyway, I'll share my story too.. 

 

When I first started to watch WIN, I felt neutral towards both team. I was not immediately liking one of them. I knew Lee Seunghoon as I've watched Kpop Star S1 before (though I couldn't recognize Junhoe at first..). In the beginning I rooted for team A out of sympathy. As they cried a lot, I thought they must be really desperate. And because they are older than team B, somehow it felt like they had to win. I rooted for them to win but I was never able to enjoy their performances. I wanted to enjoy but I couldn't.. They lacked teamwork (this was evident), and pressure seemed to had gotten into them so badly that they didn't even seem to enjoy performing. I understand them though.. As they lost to team B a lot, they must felt so much pressure to win. On the other hand, team B performed well every time and I enjoyed their performances (but I guess I was blinded by my sympathy towards team A). Anyway, I rooted for team A until the final episode.

 

Then BAM! Team B performed CLIMAX and I cried my eyes out. Bobby's rap just made me so sad and I could relate to him..  Then I had goosebumps at B.I's rap (I can feel his pain and desperation) and when it came to Junhoe's part, I cried uncontrollably. I was so touched by the lyrics.. I mean the members of team B always tried to show their strong side, so when I understand the meaning of the lyrics, my heart just couldn't take it. So, I suddenly wanted team B to win and I started to like them (FINALLY!! It was so late, I know.. *speechless at myself, but I guess it is better late than never).

But they lost so I cried again.   Now I am never letting go of my love towards them. (needs to prepare my wallet when they debut though.. I am sure YG will suck my wallet dry). *Begging YG for mercy..  

 

 

I've never been interested in hip hop/rap before, but team B is the first one to make me enjoy it and now I am unable to let go of my love for rap/hip hop.. and most importantly, they are the first group that I ever like, and most likely will be the only group that I like..

I knew it would be sad at the end. Bobby was my favorite then Jinwoo. 

I thought  team B is the best,  but I refused to choose someone. All so sad, my heart tore. It took a year to be born a heart. YG will start again. Help. Outburst

Hey guys, so apparently iKON_ YG ( https://twitter.com/iKON_YG) is stealing the translation of iKON_Global subbing team (https://twitter.com/iKON_Global) without crediting. The subbing team had been working very hard to provide us with fast sub and they do not want anything from us other than some appreciation toward their efforts. The team even made an effort to ask them nicely for credit but instead iKON_YG chose to ignore and claimed that those translation are theirs. They even took down the comments from the translators who asking them nicely to credit them properly. It doesn't make them less of a fandom but just appreciation of other people's work. I don't understand them but if you guys have a twitter, please go on and say a few words to support the subbing team and call out that fandom for their wrong doings.

Oh everyone is sharing stories, it's nice to know how each of you came to like our babies

I'm sharing mine too   

Before the show, there were some articles about YGE having a show to choose his next boy group; it got interested so I read further
As I knew KSY&LSH are gonna be there AND belong to the same team I knew it was game over for the other team whoever they are.
As the show progressed I decided to watch because I was bored & wanted to see some KSY awesome stages..
1st episode : When YG said "either you debut or go to the army" to Team A I confirmed the whole show was a wake-up call to that Team. I felt sympathy for Jinwoo's story too& thought I'll definitely vote for Team A
2nd episode: I hated namtae's crying so much, and didn't like KSY's attitude either; not his fault though since he already debuted he was taught how to behave in front of camera so   
3rd episode: Their battle did it for me.The dance & Hanbin's outfit were hard to miss and I hated that everyone on the show wanted Team A without giving Team B a chance (yeah, just like me) and typical-me decided to go for the underdogs   so I loved them, supported them, voted for them but they lost and I had to wait a year to see them on TV again
As I was watching WIN, my favorite changed from KSY to Bobby to June    Yoyo was my least favorite (I seldom saw him, not my fault   )

Now for my favorite-everything in Team B:
- Favorite member : June - Bobby
- Favorite song : Climax (no song's gonna replace it..)
- Favorite singing performance : One of a kind
- Favorite dancing performance : Jay-Z & Kayne West mash-up  /ep8
- Favorite moments : Triple Kim @ Jeju

I don't post on this thread much but I'll share my story too.

 

So while watching "WIN:WHO IS NEXT" I always thought Team b was better because of their performances it was just their vocal's that let them down but I also got attached to (Nam Taehyun and Jinwo from WINNER like seriously Taehyun can rival my love for Junhoe) and when they lost I felt bad because B.I's tears and Junhoe's voice in "climax" it was just too much emotion.

 

Then SMTM3 came out and I was happy again so I watched it but I think I may be the only one in this thread who didn't like Bobby's songs I really wanted IRON to win because I was following him since (BTS days and DNH days his mixtape is superior too and his feathers) he deserved to win since he was dirt poor and he could have used that album deal to get bigger but it's okay that Bobby won because now he gets to bring his family over and build a house for his mother which is sweet.

 

Then I heard MIX & MATCH was coming and got hyped but disappointed about the member changes ...

it's so nice to see many people here now, glad that the thread is moving as fast as if not faster than WIN era~~~ even though I hardly recognize anyone (or did you all just change your id???) and it's really nice reading your stories

 

I dont have any story to tell cuz I love team B at first sight, since episode 1. Seeing them together, playing, practicing, eating, battling, cheering one another up just made me love them more and more and more. Their relationship is just so heart-warming and real. That's why I sincerely hope they will debut together, all 6 of them. The other member would need time to fit in and prove himself, whoever he might be, but it would be too cruel to break the original 6 apart....
