lovingu2 1,959 Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 i am writing my essay now. i have some questions: #1 my title is : what are the causes of stress among teens? what exactly should i put in upper case? is it like this: What are the Causes of Stress Among Teens? or is (Among) supposed to be (among). just please write the title with the correct format. #2 in the running head is this title okay : CAUSES OF STRESS ...? because it needs to be shorter. and is this how i'm supposed to write running head: Runninghead #3 if my doctor isn't a doctor (lol) in the first page can i write Ms. xx xxx ? because it is supposed to be: Doctor xx xxx thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Noodle 6,306 Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Well I know in the first one that among should be capitalized bc only short words aren't (I think words that are typically 4 letters or less). So it's "What are the Causes of Stress Among Teens?". For Running Heads, all I know is that the title has to be in all caps and can't be longer than 50 letters. So I guess "CAUSES OF STRESS" or "CAUSES OF STRESS IN TEENS" would be ok. Not really sure what you mean in the 3rd one with the doctor. Hopefully this helped. If you're in university/ college/ whatever you guys call it in your country, I think it's just better to use Professor xxx for formality. Correct me if I'm wrong. On the first two, everything else, pretty much what Noodle said. As for the doctor thing. Not entirely sure what you're asking there. Like a licensed medical Doctor? PhD?
