ETB5 4,512 Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 One of my classes has a discussion-based dynamic, so we are seated in a rectangle (That way, we can all see each other when talking). Anyway, since the start of the semester, I've noticed that every time I look in front of me, there is a guy staring at me. When I make eye contact with him he looks away. I notice him staring at me almost every class. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and assumed that maybe he was looking at someone next to me but the fact that he looks directly at me and redirects his gaze when I catch him doing it, is kind of sketchy. I don't know what to think. I've thought of the possibility that maybe he dislikes me(Although I've never talked to him) but he doesn't look at me with contempt. In fact, he stares at me with a very neutral expression. He doesn't really make me uncomfortable. I'm just curious as to why he does that. What would you guys think if this were to happen to you?? Maybe he's just zoning out and well he probably thought it was awkward when you made eye contact with him so he looked away. That happens to me all the time on the bus. Or maybe he likes you, just ask you. I doubt anyone would constantly keep looking at a person they don't like with a neutral expression.
