I know, like how does that even work? considering it happens in a few days. It seems like one of those chapters where you just go along with mangaka, saying it makes absolute sense, no question asked.

Even the timeline makes no sense. So many things already happened in the series that I am pretty sure a year have passed but no one ages. Ran is still in high school. The technology in the anime also changes so much but no one ages. From those flip phones to touch screen phones.

A lot of things in manga are always like that, we just go along with it because despite all the difference between what will happen in real life and in the series. They still give us good stories to keep us from watching. 

SIde note, sometimes I really dislike how draggy Conan can get at times, Like just get on with BO related stuff man but maybe this can be due to my own impatience.

But on the other hand, I don't want it to end because I am going to miss the characters, especially Heiji (right now, he only appears once in a while so what am I gonna do if he doesn't appear anymore  ).

Reading it for 11 years already. 

Sometimes, it feels like a lot of cases in the middle are very unnecessary. They are just dragging the whole main plot. They could have cut down on it and move on with more related stuff. At times, I do feel annoyed with it.

Thankfully, I have only been reading it for about half the time you have been reading it. I had debated on whether or not to watch/read DC because it was really long and still ongoing. In the end, I gave in... 

If I were to go back in time, I would still make the same decision lol

How Yumi doesn't want marriage yet after hearing of his annual salary, she lost 100 million yen. Haha.

Just something light in the middle. More of a mystery then a case. To find Yumi's "lost money"...

I'm glad this thread exists, it's interesting lurking around and reading all the spoilers and theories ^^ Germany finally released volume 86 which is chapters 905-915 so I'm not too far behind anymore but I can't help but love to spoiler myself ugh ~

Also, regarding masumi and all the theories going around, I read a few theories the little girl living with masumi is her mother shrinked-version, which seems pretty plausible to me, what do you guys think?

And I'm pretty sure myself Yumi's ex-bf (or bf?) is the middle brother. There was so much hinting it would be ridiculous any other way - then again, I'm still not up to date so I may be missing out on points that set clear he's not the middle brother ^^"

tbh same, I'm also internally crying when there's one whole volume and no process in BO whatsoever. But I also do enjoy all those "filler" chapters in the middle that sole purpose is some mystery plotting a lot, too. like it's still pretty enjoyable to me reading DC volumes all comofortable in my free time. I wouldn't mind the series continuing for quite some more years. 

No more Heiji would ruin me   and sorry for ranting

I think it's possible that it's her mother too since she has Akai's green eye if I remember correctly.

I know file 946 just came out for the english translations but I read the chinese scans for file 947 and file 947 really put  some theories on forums and tumblr out to play.

 

Side note, there seem to be a lot of "mysteries" to solve recently. Hopefully, we will get a BO arc this year.

It's confusing that they have the same surname because if they are step-siblings, they wouldn't share the same surname, no? How is the child related to Sera and Akai? half-siblings, sharing the same mother?

Oh that makes sense. Koji Haneda was a shogi player so Shukichi probably changed his surname to match. Wasn't that child watching Shukichi's match before? 

 

I just had a thought. It feels like BO will soon know about the drug's possibility of shrinking people. There are now more people like that if we count that child as a victim, though it's not confirmed.

YES! Heiji and Kazuha. The movie about their childhood was lovely and Heiji realizing that Kazuha is his first love.

this picture of Asaka makes me wonder if RUM is a man or woman. The pic looks like Rum has a long hair and seem to have smaller physique (which is in line with the feminine description). But I don't get how Rum also looks like the strongly built man. some kind of disguise? though not sure which of the 3 is/are the disguise (I think old man is the easiest disguise out of the three). Or he embodies all 3? 

 

 

 

I am excited for movie 20 as well~ another BO movie! Rum might be there?

The trailer mentioned something about Organization's #2.

I haven't read that he is involved with the storyline. Where do you see it? 

Oh, I didn't see it. I am sure you are right since I haven't kept up with DC news. I just assumed because he wondered how we will like the movie at the end of trailer. He's probably just saying that as a viewer himself then.
