lol yes, those in the dark are more terrifying than those who are not, like Gin who everyone knows and also makes you kind of wonder why Black Organization pride themselves on this anonymity bs to begin with.

The hint about RUM was dropped earlier at the end of Scarlet Chapter, remember Detective Boys came to visit Okiya/Akai and ask him to solve the mystery and method use by Hakase?

 

Now, this is how the method Hakass use to fool DB:

 

First, he use 4 glass contain of Coffee, 3 of them were mark using ballpen and the leftover one remain untouch. The Detective Boys were under the impression that only 3 glass contained a Salt/Vinegar in them. Hakase say that he can use physic pwer and choose the right glass which is the real coffee that didnt have Salt/Vinegar in it. Of course, Hakase has turn his back and DB are the one who turn around the 4 glass, it appear that Hakase choose the "right" glass and coffee, thus drink it like nothing happend, moreover casually.

 

In the end, it turn out that all 4 Glass of Coffee contain a Salt/Vinegar in them, it doesnt matter which glass Hakase choose because all of them, in fact are all the same. Its just that Hakase who lied and act like the coffee he drink is the normal one, thus the Detective Boys were fooled. The mark left at the bottom of glass earlier using ballpen vanished because of the heat produce by Coffee, of course its all for distraction.

 

 

Now, remember what Haibara said about RUM? According to Haibara, RUM have 3 Characteristic"

 

1) RUM is a strong built man

 

2) RUM is a femenine-like Man

 

2) RUM is an old man

 

Now, how can everyone who have met RUM give a different conclusion/description about his appearence? This make us to question, is RUM an expert and master in disguise? And many more..

 

Knowing Gosho, this situation is similar to that of Detective Boys and Hakase, it might be foreshadow and hint drop by Gosho to solve and discover the true identity of RUM

 

AND!!!

 

Remember the LAST hint Haibara said about RUM? Everyone who have meet RUM all agree that:

 

4) RUM has a damaged and artificial eye

 

See it? The similarity of these 2 situation is hard to ignore.

 

Could it be that ALL those 4 characteristics of RUM is true? If that so, then it is possible that RUM is not a SINGLE Person, the possibility of the codename to be use by multiple agents are also high.

 

Oh well...... very interesting, we need more clue and hints to figure this out.

 

So far, all the Black Organization codenames for men are liquors while women's codenames are wine or wine-based cocktails. Rum should be a man if this pattern holds.

 

 

Anyway, the fact that the second-in-command come out must mean that the shit just got real IMO. What is RUM mission? It bother me, RUM is on move and active in the morning based on Kir message just right after the chase between Bourbon and Okiya/Akai. Vermouth noted about GIN is currently also on move to find the spies and undocover agents in BO, if that true then Kir and Bourbon better be prepared IMO. GIN <-- The dude is hella smart

I am not getting the analogy between the 4 coffee thing and the 4 characteristics, beside the number 4. That aside, it's interesting you brought up that Rum could be a codename for more than one person. I haven't thought of it like that. 

 

I thought there was some trick to having 3 distinct characteristics seen, aside from maybe being good at disguise as hinted in the manga but I thought that would be too easy. 

But yeah, I am definitely looking forward to the next BO arc.

Now that you mentioned, that one is indeed suspicious.

 

Nice call on he or her being a victim of Apotoxin, great theory!!

 

I call that one as He or Her is because i cant really tell wheter that one is really a man or female. Like we are confused at first and think Sera is a Man LOL :lol:

Exactly my thought! plus, it's a child so gender is more difficult to distinguish.

I was suspecting that the kid was that second brother of theirs since that brother of theirs has never appeared. Sera is also very interested in Haibara when she first appeared but maybe just because she reminded her of this child? Idk anymore too. Lol. Just following that flow...

Oh I had forgotten that dctp released the english translation for Conan/Kindaichi game. I am still at chapter 1 but the game is interesting so far. I am excited!

It's amazing no one brought up that Conan might have some bladder problems, considering how many times he had used the excuse of needing to go to restroom.  :imstupid:

I am already amazed at how people are not suspicious that Kogoro or Sonoko can talk in their sleep.  :imstupid:

also, the fact that Conan learns everything from TV. what channel/program is this kid watching? I want to be smart like him too  :imstupid:
