Chapter 935:

 

seriously, fuck zombies, man... cockblocking Heiji when he was about to confess -.-

Do they not know it's taken some 900 chapters for him to even realize his feeling and now he just gathered up his courage to actually confess and they ruined it. /smh

Heiji and Kazuha were so obvious though.. it's a wonder it's taken this long.

If you mean progress on black organization, the last I remember top of my head was about

 

a member named Rum who is supposedly very close to the boss and that he's gonna appear in movie 20

I'm gonna be honest...I really don't wanna reread everything....from the beginning....like...what's a good place to leave off...?

 

Unless it's super recommended that I should start from the beginning........or should I watch the anime and then start reading the manga where it left off at?

Where did you get up to? 

 

For me, I used to skip around chapters using DC wiki page. For example, if I want to read about all the chapters related to Black Organization plot line, I go to their wiki and see which chapters they appear in. I have done that with Heiji because he's my fav character too ^^ Have also done the same with anime :D

I don't know which chapter that is because I started with anime but it was around 100 something episode. Anime has anime original stuff so even if you want to go with anime, I would still recommend skipping around. I would go with major characters like BO members, Kaitou Kid, Heiji, Shinichi's parents, (might be spoiler for you but..) FBI/CIA/whatever else intelligent organization members, and etc.

I think this case might help Conan in realizing why Rum have three distinct descriptions since three of the detective boys gave different description about the culprit.

Rum has been mentioned here and there, recently Scotch, and also there was this young kid(?) with Sera (don't know what's the deal with her(?) yet). Thanks for the info. I remember where there is one case after it where all the suspects fits all 3 of Rum's description. I haven't read up more upon Scotch yet. 

That young kid though. Lots of speculations. I am looking forward to the next major BO case.

The first hint was when he reacted to zero somewhere in chapters 888-890. Zero was I believe a nickname for secret police. But it was revealed in scarlet showdown when he had his colleagues from secret police trying to corner Jodie and Camel, and also surround Shinichi house to capture Akai.

 

As to why, he was in the police academy and he was the top of his class as stated by Wataru Date. So I guess he either applied and got into secret police or was recruited by them. Not sure...
