Do you feel that K-POP is getting boring?

Do you ever look back and think about how exciting k-pop was back then? There were more hilarious and great variety shows and there were decent groups but they're getting real old now..too many new groups nowadays..And just ..k-POP isn't the same as back then. Doesn't this kind of thought makes you afraid of the future?

Nah WG's resurrection and twice's iconic debut restored most of my interest in Kpop

Seriously....put them on any show and I would watch it tbh....haven't felt that way About a group in a minute

The constant bickering and fanwars are getting tedious. I think we'd all be a lot happier if we just calmed the fuck down and focused on our faves.

Uhh, kpop has always been like this. Like 24/7/365  :._.:

Considering 2014's horrible year for kpop, 2015 was a pretty nice year for kpop imo, almost every top tier group cameback and we got good albums

This. Almost every major group made a comeback OP, maybe you just miss old variety shows (?) There was plenty of exciting music and combacks this year

I feel like that since 2013 but got worse with the time

when i started accumulating MVs to see for weeks it was when I started to notice that i was getting sick of it. It is due to the fact that there are lots groups than before and instead of we having more diversity of concepts and genres of music, they are all photocopies of each other so why should i even bother to check them

that is why i started to get interested in j-pop again because I feel that there is more diversity.

the problem is access to the content

Spill that tea. Yea, ever since exo started losing members it's lost it's joy. Now all fans seem to care about is how many albums they sold, their chart position, and the number of tickets sold. Like, hello? What about the music?

Yea I found ftisland recently , and I'm liking them. But exo...tbh, idk if I'll even follow them like I do now, this time next year. It's not fun if ALL of my boys aren't there.

Kpop these days is nothing but drama....

Having been an avid fan of k-pop since 2011, I noticed the huge shift in music/ directory in music videos. It's the same old groups coming back with either hip-hop(boys) and cute/sexy (girls). I miss the huge diversity and variety shows before the over saturation of idols + the music shows with those awesome collab stages.

K-pop isn't getting boring, it's just changing. The changes however, aren't like the ones post 2010. To the new k-pop fans, this may seem new and interesting. But as years go by, you might be at that stage where you'll go ehh - then your bias comes back - slays your heart - cycle repeats.

not really no.

i've been into kpop since 2012 and i find it hard to abandon it .

+, im not the type to watch alot of variety shows or stan 10000 groups so i guess maybe that's why?

maybe since im technically just a listener i can't find it boring.
