SID 10TH ANNIVERSARY RELEASES – NEW SINGLE “ANNIVERSARY†AND NEW LIVE DVD

 

Japanese rock band SID (シド)  is celebrating their 10th anniversary.  So far this year, in commemoration of this great event, SID has released: â€SID 10th Anniversary BEST,†“SIDNAD Vol.8 – TOUR 2012 M & W -,†and “Side B complete Collection – e.B 2 -,†and will be releasing a new single “Anniversary†and a live DVD “SIDNAD Vol.9 – YOKOHAMA STADIUM – <10th Anniversary LIVE>â€.

 

To commemorate this anniversary several visual-kei bands will release their covers of “Moso Nikkiâ€. DIV, Moran, Kameleo, DaizyStripper, Dog in the Parallel World Orchestra, v (Neu) are some of the bands behind the covers.

 

SID will finish off their epic year with a live event held at Nippon Budokan on December 27, 2013 under the name of “Visual BANG! – SID 10th Anniversary FINAL PARTY -,†in which DIV, Moran, Kameleo, DaizyStripper, Dog in the Parallel World Orchestra, v (Neu), and more j-rock bands will participate. SID’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated in a big way with these many releases and live shows.

 

Regarding the single “Anniversary†the covers have already been revealed. The single is scheduled to be released on November 6 and comes in four editions: regular, anime, limited edition type A and limited edition type B.

Aki is a cute young who says that he wants to participate every time, but he's such a pain when he's drunk that he showed up in my dreams. Something like a large-breed dog. I'll prepare the necklace and the leash for next year.

N/T : This is a message written on the official FB page of VAMPS to thank the artists who participated to the Halloween Party. And after having talked with a friend of mine who went to the venue it seems that Aki, obviously drunk, had ended up licking Daigo and Hyde's face (that's where the "large-breed dog" is from) and apparently Daigo added "Not the easy thing that everybody imagines, it's up to professional standard".

After all these articles about the cover of SID's single "mousou nikki" that will be released by ten different bands now also SID has announced the release of a brand new single.

It will include only one song titled "hug" but comes in five different versions. Limited Edition Type A, B, C and D cost 1260 each and come with a photobook that include photos of one member. That's why there are four different Limited Editions. The Regular Edition costs 840 Yen and includes only the song.

But I also wanted to thank MomoMoon115 because the translations of Aki's posts are actually translations that I made so I'm happy to see them here too AND with the holy credits xD (I had to deal so many times with people that reposted my stuff without credits that I want to kiss you right now) 

 

Well I might come there from time to time now that I know that the thread exists, but my main goal was to say I support SID too and thanks for posting the translations xD

The four-man rock band SID created their new song "Enamel" for the opening theme of the Black Butler: Book of Circus television anime series. The anime will premiere this July, and the song's CD single will go on sale on August 27.

 

Vocalist Mao commented, "We aimed to produce a song that would fit Black Butler!SID would like to rise in unison with the Black Butler anime." He expressed the band's confidence in the song, "We're hoping fans will enjoy the worldview of 'Enamel,' too."
