M.A.P6 to pay homage to hit dance moves from the 1990s - 2000s!

M.A.P6, who previously released a teaser image for their upcoming comeback, have revealed that they will be paying homage to various hit dance moves from the 1990s to the 2000s!

 

The group's title track, "Charm Appeal Time", will feature several familiar dance moves from M.A.P6's sunbaes, as well as a point choreography move that accompanies the whistling sounds in the song!

 

The group has also announced that they will be revealing parts of their choreography in advance through their Naver 'V' app broadcast on May 17, so make sure to catch it!

On May 18, the group revealed a MV teaser for their upcoming release, "Swagger Time". The rhythmic melody does a great job of capturing our attention, along with M.A.P6's groove full of swag. The full release of "Swagger Time" is scheduled for May 24.

MAP6 Announces It’s “Swagger Time†In New Teaser - Soompi

 

Rookie group MAP6 will finally be making a comeback with their new song, “Swagger Timeâ€!

 

According to their agency Dream Tea Entertainment’s statements on May 19, this music video is yet another collaboration with director Hong Won Ki, who directed the group’s debut music video “Storm†as well.

 

This new music video reportedly shows five mischievous boys who disrupt an otherwise quiet and boring life, and energize it with their fun dancing and singing.

 

The director also adds, “The music video expresses MAP6′s free-spirited nature with the use of a brightly colored set with graffiti accents. Since this is the second music video I am filming with them, I was able to portray their hidden charms and talents better than last time.â€

M.A.P6 reveal their aspirations for this comeback + thank Girl's Day and Ji Hyun Woo - Allkpop

 

M.A.P6, who recently returned with energetic single "Swagger Time", relayed their aspirations and goals for this comeback in an interview!

 

About their new track "Swagger Time", member Minhyuk stated, "When we first received this song we were all driven to try it out. We'll show everyone an exhilarating M.A.P6."

 

Member J.Vin then expressed, "These days, songs that were released a while ago have a tendency to not come down from their top places on music charts. In truth, even songs that win #1 on music programs don't even make it to the top of the music charts," talking about how much more difficult the K-Pop scene has become. The group went on to reveal, "With this comeback, we plan on getting our name out there. We're aiming to place in the top 30s on music charts, and plan on promoting for about 5 weeks on music programs."

 

Minhyuk also thanked the group's label sunbaes with, "We're in good hands, thanks to Girl's Day sunbaenim, whom we've worked together with, and Ji Hyun Woo sunbaenim, who coached and monitored us during practices. We're thankful that they've been so interested in us."

M.A.P6 share the advice they received from sunbae group Girl's Dayr - Allkpop

 

 

On June 7 airing of 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', rookie group M.A.P6 talked about Dream Team Entertainment sunbae group Girl's Day!

 

A listener of the radio show sent in a question asking, "Do you guys receive a lot of help from your sunbae Girl's Day?" M.A.P6 answered, "They even monitored our new song for us, and said it's better than our previous one. Thanks to them we can promote with confidence."

The boys continued to talk about Girl's Day to answer another listener's question about their appearance on 'Ddanddara'. In the beginning of the drama, M.A.P6 made a short appearance as the popular group 'Jackson'.

 

Sun shared the advice they received from Hyeri, and said, "Our part in the drama was really small, so acting advice was unnecessary, but we did receive advice about how to spend our time during a hiatus. She told us to practice singing and to study other languages."

Boy group M.A.P.6 has revealed behind-the-scene images from their day of shooting.

 

On November 3, M.A.P.6′s agency DreamT Entertainment revealed behind-the-scenes photos from their shoot with KWAVE through Naver Post.

 

 

 

 

In the revealed photos, the members of M.A.P.6 can be seen preparing for their shoot, resting in between photos and posing during their shoot.

 

Additionally, each member is fitted with fall sweaters and jackets to match their unique personality.

 

M.A.P.6 are also receiving attention for their candid talks while taking breaks in between the shoot.
