haerin is honestly so pretty omg

 

she became a loen trainee last november

 

and before that she used to be a jyp trainee (from may to ~november 2015?) she was also accepted as a mystic ent trainee in february 2015

someone posted a youtube link on dc gallery on the 30, but the video is now deleted and the post after that was gifs of haerin (and i guess it was from that youtube link, a performance of aoa's short hair i believe) and i can't find it on her former dance academy's fb + blog

She was singing too according to the gifs, such a shame!

I tried to dig a bit, I confirm the Hagwon has deleted the perf from their Youtube, they forgot to delete the pictures from their facebook tho, I hope someone at DC saved the video before sharing and will reupload...

It's funny, I had her as really tall in mind (I think she is nicknamed kirin^^), but there was someone in her hagwon team who was taller.

Still, only 2 of the 5 girlls are on flats 

 

And wow she was indeed accepted into JYP, but that doesn't mean she joined the company, the time frame between being accepted into JYP (June 2016?) and Loen (November 2016) seems a bit short... Or she really went to JYP and decided it was not for her quickly.

 

 

I'm surprised tho, it's seems that beside Soyeon, all the girls were recruited fairly recently. I thought this group was in preparation since forever and that all the girls would have been training together for at least 2 years, but not at all. Must have been hard on Soyeon to see trainees come and go while she stayed with no set debut team.

It's weird tbh, like Suhyun (that girl from Modern K) was actually a decent singer+dancer but she's not in the lineup, while Haeun who's not that great vocally and trained for like 5 months is a member ?_? Welp we'll see what they're doing I guess

I might get negged fot this, but it's not necessarily the most skilled but often the ones with the most star-potential that are selected. It's unfair but that's idol world, if you're pretty and funny but an average singer/dancer, you have bigger chances than if you're boring with average looks but with a voice like Whitney Houston (as I said, in idol world, contrary to what a lot of ifans think, there aren't only idols in the industry, I wish more people would take an interest in the indie scene^^)

 

 

I personally wonder if LOEN will really stick with 7 members, because if you have Sumin and Soyeon, you sort of have 2 extremly well rounded members that already cover all areas. Soyeon as main dancer, main rapper, sub-vocal, Sumin as main vocal, sub-rapper and still good dancer.

If the other 5 are as good = overkill (similar to Lovelyz or WJSN, where so many VERY talented members have no opportunity to shine), if they have lower skills, it means 50%+ of the lines will be taken over by 2 members, I'm not a fan of that either. I sort of feel like only 4-5 members would do... I hope LOEN can make a good balance, cause I'm still very disappointed with Weki Meki, where my 2 favorite members had 1-2 lines each.

At least it explains why so many short-term trainees, I guess the other girls have been training longer?

No, Fave is the company name, loen stan can tell that more exactly than me, but fave is a sub-company of Loen, and the girls will probably be managed by them.

considering fiestar and history debuted (almost) at the same time with 6/5 members, i think loen could do the same with the boyz and fave girls?

That's the thing, Fiestar and History had low impact, too "safe" all the way. The whole trainee exposure is quite new, so I wonder if Loen is not trying to go for something that has impact this time around?

I don't really know for the boys, but for the girls, I do hope the number of members doesn't exceed 7... There are too many huge groups already, and barely any company who knows how to manage a big group. 

I personally wouldn't see a point in having 10+ members, but all the focus is only on Soyeon, Soomin and eventually one or two visual/funny members who grab people's attention ^^'

just by saying that in Fiestar, a 6 member group, Loen only focused on jei for the 3 first years of the group

i don't think they are going to do a survival or something, the rumours/news would have already been realeased.

Maybe Loen will discard some of the trainees and that's why they haven't shown frontal photos

 

That's an interesting theory actually. Assuming the strategy is to protect the girls cause not all will make it, the girls who's faces and names have been revealed by Fave/Loen themselves must be sure to debut now.

 

In that case, aside from Soomin and Soyeon, the girls who are certain would be:

Park Soeun

Shin Jiyoon

Lee Sujin

 

Only these 6 names have been tagged by Loen so far...

For the survival... I don't know, it's a really big trend even smaller companies have tried but with little success, only JYP or YG have had success in company-centered survival shows. I was personally surprised at how Loen was viewed during PD101, sure Loen is big, but their artists not that much (IU being the exception)... A Loen survival could attract more interest than expected?

The whole reveal process (pretend there are only 7 girls before revealing there are 13 girls if not more), and the fact that there is freaking 13 girls seems big to me...? Then again I don't know Loen, I've never followed their artists enough to understand processes at the company... It just feels like they're preparing something bigger than expected, survival is the first word that comes to mind, could be something else too?

I would find it weird for Soomin to sign with Loen for a survival show, considering she probably got the offer from YG too, since his girlgroup survival is about to air, Loen must have had something better to offer...?

I also wish LOEN and YG would actually tell us whats going on and if any of the girls are joining the show.  Still seeing lots of rumours that Soyeon/Soomin are joining but no official confirmation yet.

Actually all the rumors about idols/trainees joining Mixnine so far come from the same Twitter account. I asked the account where they get their information and I got no reply. I think they just list whoever is known and is training in companies that were recognized in that Mixnine teaser regardless of what is true.

That's why Soyeon and Sumin are rumored to go, because they're the only famed trainees in Loen/Fave right now.

 

I see 7 girls in the teaser, so I sort of expect 7 girls to participate, but we'll see^^

 

The only confirmed participants so far are the 3 Loona girls (Heejin, Hyunjin and Haseul). 

I think YG is keeping it secret on purpose, he wants a big reveal live, considering the competing show "The Unit" is revealing a lot of contestants, he probably wants the surprise effect (and thus higher ratings) in the first episode, when the famous trainees or debuted idols get revealed. I know it's working on me, I have to admit I'm more curious about Mixnine because I don't know who's participating, compared to The Unit.

Are we sure about Suhyun being a 96 liner? Seems like it doesn't fit with the rest of the girls. It looks like Loen has been sort of eliminating all the older ones who probably started training at the same time as Soyeon.
