I just got literally an hour long lecture from aunt because..do you get lectures too?

I didnt eat my dinner.....she spoke about the old days and how I have too much choices and all the shit she had to do just to be able to get water *carrying a bucket on her head from the well* and then somehow it moved onto her not having a bed, her school days, her having to walk barefoot, her having to walk miles to reach school and how gran had 8 children and they ate everything their mother put on the table for them, and how some of her family didnt even have food 

 

and Im just like "Sorry I'll go eat it now.."  Damn I get it...eat my food or go through an hour of lecturing and reprimanding

They never try to narrate the story differently, and I can repeat the freakin' story word by word with same gestures.    I even tell these people to work on their storytelling if they gonna tell me the same damn story every single time.

Literally my mom said that to me and my sis and my stepdad went in on how he grew up and how we should be grateful we are able to eat. Then me and my sis went to our friends house moping and crying about it and our friends mom was liked "honestly you can waste food here who cares" I was like ..... But this ain't my house tho but ok

Another time when my mom was more lax (and my stepdad was out somewhere) we had rice and chicken I ate the chicken but I fucking hate rice so I complained and my mom was getting up to throw it away but my little crybaby sister was like "MOM THATS NOT FAIR!!!! MAKE HER EAT!! SHE ALWAYS GETS WHAT SHE WANTS SHES A BRAT. WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS IN AFRICA AND SHE ISNT LEARNING HER LESSON!" Sis turns to me and looks me in my eye and was like "sit here until u eat I'll wait " I was like ...this bitch.. I'm stubborn especially more stubborn since my little sister is the one saying shit when she throws out her food on the daily, so I just sit there and have me and her wait an hour and a half but we ain't budging. My mom comes back after TWO hours of me not eating grabs my plate says "I'm sick of this shit. Y'all are a bunch of spoiled ass fucking babies!" And throws the rice away (bc nobody wanted it) lmaoo my sis then went on a rant on how I'm the favorite child and how I'm spoiled blah blah blah my mom shut her up with the quickness tho she said "it seems like your the fave right now because I haven't knocked your ass out yet" my sister shut up very quickly
