Jonghyun is donating sales proceeds to charity i think it's so great of him...like why is he so perfect, right? I stanned the right person but some ppl on twitter are speculating that this is the reason why SM only put out 1 version of his album, instead of releasing several ones like the usual. Since they're not 'earning' or 'benefiting' from it, there's no need to release several versions to increase the sales. in my opinion, that's not the case at all. Rather than SM deducting the money for charity from their profit, i think this will reflect on their charity tax deductions(from the income taxes).... btw, the highest tax rate there is 35%? for over 80 million won (& we all know that he's earning more money than that, their concert fees alone are in the billions) that's just too much imo ( i mean 12 of taxes is already killing me so)smart move for Jonghyun really. less taxes for him i guess.what do you think? Franklin 5,152 Posted May 25, 2016 Share Posted May 25, 2016 I don't think that sm won't earn money...i thibk they will get the usual amount of money...we assume that sm gets 95% of the earnings from the album sales, so i think that jonghyun will donate his part...i think it's the same for the digital stuff...maybe sm will donate something too when they get the money back they spent on his album... Lool...i don't know...but i don't think it has something to do that he only has one version...hah...this is all soo confusing... ANDDD...ARE YOU ALL READY FOR JONGHYUN IN SNL!?!?!?!?!? + more versions of the album = more production costs, so he'll get less income from that. At the end of the day, i don't think that Jonghyun would sign up for something that would not benefit him. I trust him completely with his decisions, and im very much satisfied w/ that one version of album that we got, the album full of endless bops.
