Yes, he's never trained to sing actually. BIGBANG talked abt it before. He doesn't get vocal training like the rest altho he can definitely sing. The reason is prolly because TOP has rapper pride that he only focuses on rapping and he's just too shy to sing lol. Another reason is becuz his voice is too deep and when he sings, he may override others in BB's songs. 

 

I really appreciate this tbh. It's so rare that we could hear T.O.P singing
