I never stanned anyone so much that I cried over them, but I would never shame anyone who did either. If they make you happy, if they set an example, if they inspire you and make you wanna create and discover new things, if they help you go through hard times, then all the power to anyone being such a fan. As long as it doesn't get borderline unhealthy obsessive, I don't see the harm, and it is not ridicule either, despite what media and society would like to tell us. There are tons of people out there that is just (or more) talented as them, same as being attractive, funny and entertaining.
