Why do girls say their ovaries are exploding?

Like there are those girls who go like-

"OMG MY OVARIES ARE EXPLODING!"

Whenever they see a hot guy like L or someone hot like him.

:wth: Why the hell would you say that?! Embarrassing.

Do you say that?

That's called idiom, but if you already know about that, then probably the meaning is that it brings them to orgasmic state.

And FYI, some guys say it too (although there is a variant "my testicles are exploding" but I rarely see it used).

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to say... it's also called a hyperbolic expression. It's just actually fun to play things with words.

I've never said that through

it comes from the idea your ovaries are so excited by the man/person you see, or the child you see they explode. They play a role in libido and sexual function and they produce eggs. It's sister to the uterus throwing a fit (a period) when you don't get pregnant joke.

it's like "I wanna have your babies"
