What was your SAT score?

I just got mine on the 22nd... I got 1760 in total, with CR 620, M 560 and W 580 (essay 6). Not surprised with my Math score since I always flop at Math, but I'm so disappointed with my Writing score... I always thought I was good at grammar xD I was also surprised with my CR score, cuz I only began studying like barely 2 weeks before the test.

Kinda regretting that I did not use the Official SAT book... but whatever, I got enough for my second choice uni

I actually didn't want to take the SAT until like 3 months ago... My first choice school doesn't require it but my second choice school does xD

I'm so thankful I was born in 97 cuz I'm scared to take the New SAT test lol

I took the SAT Reasoning Test btw

What did you get?

I'm not from America so can someone tell me what is considered to be good score?

I'm actually really curious

i think the best score you can get is like 2400 or something like that

2000+ is really good

anything over a 1800 is pretty good

anything from like 1400-1600 is goodish

then anything under 1400 i think is whatever

under 1200 is basic

atleast from what i think lol

earlier tests were out of 1600, current tests are out of 2400, no idea on the future tests since sat is switching it up soon. ACT is out of 36

2200+/33+ is a pretty competitive score for likes of Ivy League and stuff. 1500+/20+ is fine for lower tier state schools. 1700+/25+ is good for mid range state schools. 2000+/30+ is competitive for top rated state schools (2200/33 guarantees a spot better). This is my opinion anyway. Someone else can chime in. It'll vary between states. My top rated school is Chapel Hill so it's more competitive like an Ivy.

Generally anyone who takes students with a score lower than the lower tiers are poor private universities.

30.. Too lazy to convert

wow

are you a genius?

Lol no. I just got lucky that everything on mine was stuff I studied.

Too bad all the Ivy leagues cost like 50K a year and scholarships are so limited for international students.
