Be glad that I actually am nice to you and don't poke fun at you, like some of our classmates do, because frankly you're so arrogant and impossible!' When I finished that text I was like . She had all the material from our teacher, she was the team leader, but she did the project by herself without letting other team members know except of her best friend. When I messaged her to ask what we are going to do with the project, she said she has already done everything by herself and throw shade at my laziness. And when I asked her why she didn't announce us when she started doing it, she send me that text. I agree I am not the ideal team partner, I usually just pick up a part of the project I like, do it and let other person merge it with the work of other members. I am not the type to get involved into discussions and be optimistic with ideas, but I always do my part. I kind of expected to say something about my lack of determination, but she actually went all the way with the shade. I didn't know my classmates consider me arrogant (in my view, I am not like that at all). The part with some classmates making jokes is true tho. But one day I dragged them so fucking hard, they didn't utter an word about me since then (it was the badass-est moment in my life). But well, I've talked about it with my deskmate who knows her better and she told me 'Don't mind her. She is just like that. What she said to you was pretty chill, you don't even know how she behaves with her friends.' I already knew I hate working in a team, since that day I was sure. But right now the worst thing was one of my "friends" called me a fat, ugly girl who deserved all the bullying, and he said that just because we had an argument, because he said he thought bullying was ok and i was like WHAT??!!! Soleria 166 Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 I was bullied a lot growing up so there's plenty of stuff I could write, but the things that stand out to me - When I was really young my mom was in the hospital for mental health reasons and my grandmother told my sister and I that it was our fault she was in there and she's probably never coming out. When I was in 3rd grade during recess this girl in my class was with her friends and told me "Nobody needs you in this world." I stood up for myself after she said that but I cried so much when I got home and it still shocks me that it could dawn on a 3rd grader to even think of saying that to someone. One time I was fighting with my sister and she told me I fuck up everything I do/touch. In high school my friends put a sign on my locker for my birthday to leave nice messages for me (it's tradition at the grade schools I went to) and some girl that made fun of me a lot wrote "Happy Birthday, you fat motherfucker." on it. I'm angry about it now, but when I heard it, I was really hurt. One of my old friends also once said that people of color can't be pretty if you compare them to light-skinned people. That hurt me the most, knowing she was my friend back then.
