I'm 24 and I like a guy a work with who just turned 19 this year, he's really nice, polite and such a hard worker.

I really plan on asking him for his number since I plan on quitting soon and to keep in touch would be nice.

I honestly like him and wanna ask him out but the problem is I know my fam is gonna give me some kinda shit and maybe his will too. Just wondering, How did your parents and their parents react to the relationship?

it would have been different if he is still a student, but he's  already working, just like you. You are practically at the same life stage so I don't see a problem.

Maybe I'm biased since I'm 19, but I don't think it's too much to be worried about if you understand him well enough to be attracted to him. It's pretty funny that you mentioned that since my bud is 21 and even though he's still a "student" he is recently having a nice time with a girl he met from an old internship who's 26*. The fact that you're quitting sounds like a good opportunity to swoop in.
