I'm kinda sad because I think I'm not into Kpop and Jpop anymore at all

I haven't downloaded any Kpop or Jpop songs within the past year or two. I haven't even been listening to old stuff I used to love. I posted a topic a couple months back asking for people to update me on good kpop because I haven't been clicking on topics related to music and I didn't like anything posted.. The only reason I've been going on here is for the sections not about kpop or jpop.  I've been gradually losing interest for like 5 years now.

I'm kinda sad because Kpop and Jpop was a huuuuuge part of my childhood since my Mom thought " american music was too risque for me" and decided to give me music I didn't understand instead (weird I know). It was all I was allowed to listen to in all of elementary school.

Have any of you guys ever totally fell out of love with the whole Asian music scene? Did you ever come back to liking it? I kinda liked being in the know about what's cool in several countries.

I'm a Kpop fan since 2009, Jpop fan since 2007 and I'm still a fan (2015). I still listen to both Kpop and Jpop and anime songs. I don't think I'll ever stop listening. Both gave me special memories, helped me when I had so many problems, and basically just gives me the push to live in this complicated world.

It's really okay if you're feeling that way now. It will eventually come back at the right time :)

Well, if the time has come... Just let it go, let it gooo~~ *singing*

I mean, it's no use forcing yourself to listen to songs you don't like anymore. If you're ever to go back to liking it, it will happen naturally. I understand the sadness you're referring to, and I think it's probably pretty much nostalgy, since this was a part of your life once, a part you liked... But if you've moved on, you just need to find another hobby that will make you just as happy.  :)

i mean, that's bound to happen with pop music

especially asian pop music

literally, it feels like all kpop groups have rewinded themselves and debuted again

i rarely even listen to kpop due to it genericness

branching helps you enjoy korean music though as their music industry is very diverse

one you get out of that hallyu wave, tbh, you'll stay away from it. only the other genres will keep you staying for long.

I still listen to Kpop, but I only mostly listen for my bias groups. Unless there's this really good song but I have yet to find a song to my liking these days.

For Jpop, I don't listen anymore T.T I just visit a few Hey!Say! JUMP songs (they're my favorite) sometimes,

Its sad for me to confirm this to you Kinkysanta but there is non Music fans around this place except Agency stans and Group Individuals like stanning a group for a single individual.. they don't give anything else a chance.

YG stans, JYP puppeties and SM fanatics are wherever nowadays and they stan them blindly, so the art music have died with that ideology being formed
