Hizu 6,869
I think Weekly Idol is funny because they diss the idols. That's the only show I watch, tbh, I don't like the others.
Mogwai 15,203
Most of the time I find them funny when they're ribbing the leaders. Seems like all in good fun. But sometimes it gets kinda awkward when the idol looks a little upset. It depends on their different sensitivity thresholds, I guess, and as hosts and interviewers, they should pick up on that IMO. Some jokes hit a little too close to home more than others.

Hwasassy 1,380
I think that they're funny but sometimes the way they make fun of their guests is a little bit too much (I will never forget the first time BTS went there and how awkward it was because of the way they treated Suga)

i_apologize 714
the idols should speak up if they're treated too harsh Infinite Sunggyu would just be "Hey let's make it Infinite vs MC. Who lose gets hit on the head" xD

Cloud Of Perception 12,466
I don't like it when they pick on a single member for too long. I feel bad because even if the idols are uncomfortable they just have to laugh because they cant talk back
i_apologize 714
i remember the most recent bts one when they were all making fun of rapmon and the hosts were like "we never expected u to shoot to fame" lmao lol they also say to Hyuk "All Big Byung member is successful except for you" lol it's a joke it's a talk show they need to keep talking then Hyuk starts bragging how he was filming a drama now it's because idols nowadays they don't have nothing on them to talk for 30 minutes, the MCs have to help alot. That's how i think it is.
oh-gumdrop 348
I think it's good most of the time, but in the recent episode with got7, Jackson looked really annoyed with how doni was treating him and I felt bad for him
itsallajoke 925
Most of the times it's kinda funny, but when they pick on a single member it's kinda awkward. (Leo, for example, it was weird). And personally, I don't like when MCs (not just WI) talk about Sunggyu's looks, like, I know he doesn't care, but what's the point of calling him ugly every time? And he's good looking, so it bothers me.

CAgirl 966
I don't like how they pick on a particular idol. I can understand playing around and making funny jokes but sometimes they hit below the belt. I don't like how they pick on Jackson. . .they've done it way too many times, not only with the latest episode but the previous time GOT7 appeared on the show. They've done it to other idols as well, not just Jackson. They appear to pick on/bully the more popular idol of the group, maybe to bring them down one level but its not cool. It's uncomfortable as a viewer to the point that I think it's no longer funny and the show turns me off. I kind of hope the next time GOT7 appears on the show, Jackson has another obligation to attend so he don't have to appear on that show. He really don't need to be on there. . .he can go on other variety shows that will treat him better.

Most of the time I laugh along with them, but there have been a couple of instances where I've sensed genuine hurt feelings from an idol and then I feel sad for them and irritated with C&D. coward 1,968
Nah, that's just how a lot of k-variety is these days. Lots of personal jokes. Even IC was ruthless during the music festival. WI is way kinder with girl groups and when April was on right at debut, y you could tell they were trig their best to be kind. But with boys groups, they do take off the kid gloves. I would think most GG stans would be happy since so many complain about the double standards of kpop, but this one works to their advantage. Then again, if they know toy personally, it doesn't matter what type gender is. Lizzy had gotten the worst treatment of any female that I have seen. And how they treated Jackson After what evilness they did to him on Hitmaker was crossing the line. But usually, when fans complain (like with Suga),is because both sides made it uncomfortable, not just the hosts. A lot of idols aren't going to be variety darlings, so expecting them all to be able to handle Doni & Coni is a bit much.
